Is Athena Karkanis a real-life mother?

It turns out that the reason fans call her “the best fictitious mother” is that she is a good mother to her children outside of the sets as well. As in the show, Athena Karkanis has two children, an older daughter, and a younger boy.

However, the supermom has kept many details about her children private. Celebrities’ privacy may be a sensitive topic, especially when it comes to their children, and Athena takes it very seriously.

She posted a photo of her two children on Instagram, but only after covering their faces with a heart and cheerful smiles. Furthermore, she did not reveal their identities.

She did, however, provide the story behind the photo: Karkanis and her children went to see the ballet. While it was entertaining for the kids, it was an emotional experience for her.

She embarked on a nostalgic trip, recalling her days in the theater. She stated,

I found myself filled with emotion as I considered how significant this return to the stage is.
As a performer (who spent the first many years of her career on stage) and a lover of theatre and dance, I was overjoyed and delighted to be there and share it with my children.

Furthermore, the kids enjoyed the show, making mama even happier to share her love of performing with them.

“That was the most beautiful thing in the entire wide world,” her four-year-old supposedly exclaimed.

You could be wondering who their father is now that you know about her children. To everyone’s amazement, Athena has also not divulged the identity of her spouse.

Some reports suggest she is married to a Canadian journalist, however, there is no substantial evidence to support that assertion. But everything seemed to be well in their relationship, as she stated that her partner was quite supportive of her when she was pregnant, and he still is.

She is, nevertheless, incredibly close to her ‘Manifest’ on-screen spouse, Josh Dallas. Their on-screen chemistry is warmly accepted by the public, and their real-life friendship undoubtedly contributes to it.

Fans may desire for a real-life romance between the two, but it is unlikely to happen because Josh is married. Nonetheless, Athena gives an excellent performance alongside Josh in the show.

Her talent has garnered her numerous roles in popular films and television shows throughout the years.
