An intriguing web rumor about soccer player Marcel Sabitzer’s demise has emerged in recent days. The footballer may have been diagnosed with cancer in recent years, according to speculation.

Marcel Sabitzer, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, is one of the game’s most recognizable figures. Furthermore, his perseverance, never-say-die attitude, and hard work have won him fans among German Soccer League fans. Marce Sabitzer was born on March 17, 1994, in Wels, Austria. In July 2009, he joined Admira Wacker’s youth program and began playing soccer at a young age.

His big break came the following year when he joined the then-rising RB Leipzig. Leipzig would be his home for the next seven years, during which time he would start nearly 200 games and reach the Champions League semi-finals. After that, he briefly played for Bayern Munich and Manchester United before joining Borussia Dortmund. He has 77 Austrian international caps.

On Instagram (@marcel7sabitzer), he documents his personal life. He shares images from his games and celebrations on the social networking site. Overall, Sabitzer is an elegant midfielder with a fierce and hardworking personality who has won him many supporters throughout his career.

Is Marcel Sabitzer Alive? Cancer Rumors

Soccer fans are worried, as previously stated, and wonder if Sabitzer has cancer and is dead. These are just rumors; we can affirm that the soccer star is still alive. This season, he has also been a constant performer for the Black And Yellows, spearheading their midfield.

He was on the field during their most recent Bundesliga match, a 1-1 draw with FSV Mainz. It is worth noting that he has missed a few games owing to muscle soreness. He is, however, expected to play in the Bundesliga’s post-winter break game.

The rumor about the soccer player having cancer may have begun in October 2023, when Dortmund wrote on X about a teenage fan named Marcel who had a brain tumor. A simple tweet wishing a fan well grew into a raging rumor that Marcel Sabitzer was suffering from cancer. To recap, the Austrian midfield general is in good condition and does not have cancer.

Sabitzer’s Struggle At Bayern

Marcel Sabitzer, as previously indicated, spent two years with Bayern Munich. However, his stint did not go as planned, as he ran into some problems while playing for the Bavarian club. To begin with, he was dissatisfied with the fact that he was in and out of the team. According to his agent, the Austrian was dissatisfied since the manager did not generally select him for the starting XI. Fans got a look into the midfielder’s winning psyche because success on the pitch meant everything to him.

“When he’s not playing, he’s the most unpleasant person to be around.” When he loses, he despises himself. That is the outcome. The youngster has the personality of a murderer. That’s how guys that are always looking to win emerge.”

He then had a bittersweet loan spell with Manchester United. However, the talented midfielder appears to be fitting in nicely at his new club, Dortmund, where he is starting regularly and making an impact on big games. When Sabitzer came at Signal Iduna Park, he declared that he was ready to compete for major trophies.

“As a Borussia Dortmund player, you have to strive for the best.”I’m ready to contend for the title and the cup.”
