The NBC/ABC series Scrubs is where Canadian actress and model Sarah Chalke is best known for playing Elliot Reid. On the other side, Chalke has prevented Reid’s shadow from following her.

She has now secured a number of more jobs after Scrubs. Sarah Chalke performed a variety of parts, including Becky Conner on Roseanne, Stella Zinman on How I Met Your Mother, and Beth Smith on Rick and Morty.

She has had recurring parts in the Netflix series Paradise PD and the ABC/TBS sitcom Cougar Town. She has acted in more than 75 movies and TV shows. Given her track record, her enormous net worth comes as no surprise. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Chalke has a $14 million net worth. Like her acting career, the Scrubs star has a great family life.

Sarah Chalke: Is She Married?

Many of Chalke’s fans and followers are unsure about her marital status and whether she has a husband. She is currently engaged to well-known Canadian attorney Jamie Afifi.

Afifi attended St. John’s Ravenscourt School in Canada and was born in the year 1973. He then received an LLB from the University of Toronto.

After that, he relocated to Los Angeles, California, to continue his profession. From 2005 through 2008, Afifi worked in Los Angeles at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP as an entertainment associate.

He began working for Ziffren Brittenham LLP in June 2008 as an associate, and four and a half years later, in November 2012, he was made a partner. He presently stands for Brad Goreski, Lake Bell, and other people.

Chalke and Afifi have been dating since 2003. After three years of dating, Afifi unexpectedly proposed to his partner, but Chalke said yes to the lawyer.

The two became engaged while on vacation in Hawaii. By 2021, the couple will have been engaged for about 15 years. They both keep their personal life very quiet.

Additionally, Chalke doesn’t share any photos of them on social media. Therefore, even if the couple wed secretly, it is their responsibility to be aware.

Chalke and her fiance are parents to two kids. The couple welcomed Charlie, their first child, on December 24, 2010. Charlie was identified as having Kawasaki illness when he was a year old.

Children under the age of five can get the difficult-to-diagnose sickness known as Kawasaki Disease, which is caused by inflammatory blood vessel disease. The condition of their son was kept a secret by Afifi and Chalke until the actress made a cameo appearance on Grey’s Anatomy.

In Season 9, Episode 19 of the episode titled “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” Chalke played a single mother who was driven to discover the cause of her son’s strange sickness.

Her own life experiences served as the basis for her character. Chalke later discussed her son’s condition in an interview with TVLine. She asserted that Charlie exhibited the illness’ symptoms but had received many incorrect diagnoses.

Afifi and Chalke struggled to assess Charlie and find a specialist because the doctor was unable to diagnose their son. Fortunately, they were able to find an expert and obtain treatment quickly.

Charlie received his therapy in ten to twelve days, as opposed to the actress’s claim that a patient with Kawasaki disease had to receive it in ten days. So, despite the fact that they received therapy a little later than expected, Charlie made a full recovery.

Frances, Chalke and Afifi’s second child, was born on April 28, 2016. They gave their daughter the name Frankie after the grandparents of the actress.
