Gil de Ferran’s daughter, Anna de Ferran, is a 28-year-old DJ and songwriter. Gil has two children from his marriage to Angela, one of them is Anna.

Gil de Ferran, the Champ Car champion in 2000 and 2001, was enthusiastic about his daughter’s musical endeavors. He addressed the media about her affinity for music when she first started as a singer in the Verizon IndyCar Series. Anna submitted a beautiful family clip the day after Christmas, showing her family cooking, exchanging gifts, and having the time of their lives. Gil was seen toasting his family at the dinner table.

As a result, when news of Gil’s death spread on social media, it sent shockwaves across the community. The talented racer and sports director of the BAR/Honda and McClaren teams died of a heart attack at the age of 56. Anna and the rest of the Ferran family are still in shock at Gil’s death and have yet to speak.

Meet Anna De Ferran, the Daughter of Gil De Ferran

Gil de Ferran’s daughter, Anna de Ferran, went out of her way to pursue a career different from her father’s. Gil de Ferran’s 28-year-old daughter has built a name for herself in the music world. Her Instagram profile has a lot of information about her work. She is a songwriter, DJ, and producer.

Anna had the opportunity to DJ on the podium for the F1 pre-race festivities at last month’s season finale in Abu Dhabi. Anna is no stranger to competing in motorsports. Anna previously performed at the Verizon IndyCar Series season opener in 2014, at the age of 19.

She sang “God Bless America” before the race. Gil, Anna’s delighted father, observed at the time that it was an ideal opportunity for Anna to display her musical ability. According to the former racer, Anna had been playing at small venues in the UK and around their house in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Angela was drawn to music when she was 13 years old, and when asked whether she was nervous before her performance, the adolescent said it seemed strange to be in a familiar setting but play a new role. Anna had a busy year in 2023, as she was featured in Ocean Drive magazine’s May/June issue.

She also made an appearance at Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury. In addition to her work as a DJ, Anna is dedicated to supporting other women in breaking into a male-dominated industry. She is a co-owner of L’Amigas Collective, a Miami-based women-led DJ booking agency. Anna’s most recent album, Infected, was released in October. She also released two songs this year, I Go and Gogo. The DJ now has 17.5k monthly Spotify listeners.
