Who Is Allison Chinchar, the Wife of Mike Bettes? Parents as well as siblings

On September 4, 1984, Allison Anne Chinchar was born. She will be 36 years old in 2020. It is untrue that she was born on April 9th, despite what certain tabloids have claimed.

She is 1.72 meters (5 feet, 6.5 inches) tall.

She is the daughter of Kellie and Kenneth Chinchar, to put her family in perspective. The reporter is an American citizen and member of the Caucasian racial group.

At his own company, her father Ken coaches revenue and sales leaders. Ohio State University was the place of graduation for both Allison’s parents. It appears that she has two sisters, yet this information cannot be confirmed.

In addition, Ruth H. Crissman Young, her grandmother, died away in 2015. She went to Allison’s wedding, among others.

Allison is a graduate of Ohio University.

Allison has known she wanted to be a meteorologist since she was a little girl. Although her parents were very supportive of her interest, they occasionally expressed fear due to the potential risks.

In 2003, she enrolled in Ohio State University’s Bachelor of Science degree in order to advance her profession. 2008 saw her graduate with a concentration in atmospheric sciences and meteorology.

She belonged to the Meteorology Club of Delta Delta Sorority while attending college.

WCMH-TV was where she got her first job as an intern meteorologist.

She started working as an intern in meteorology on WCMH-TV in 2007. In 2007, her internship ran from September to December. Her primary responsibility was to support the meteorological department and use WSI to develop weather forecast graphics.

Then, in 2008, following the conclusion of her internship, Chattanooga’s WTVC-TV became interested in her. She got a job as a meteorologist for on-camera. Her primary responsibilities were writing, producing, and anchoring weekly sign language predictions; creating visuals; and anchoring forecasts.

She started working as a meteorologist for CNN and HLN in June 2015. Ever since her network debut, she has gained a lot of fans. Chinchar may be seen on Weekend Express on HLN and New Day Weekend on CNN. She has covered floods events, wildfires, blizzards, and hurricanes in her vast portfolio.

Since2012, I have been happily married to meteorologist Mike Bettes.

In line with her career, Allison leads a wonderful personal life. She and meteorologist Mike Bettes of The Weather Channel have been married since 2012.

Our investigation indicates that the couple exchanged vows in September 2012. Brian Green was the wedding planner, and the ceremony was held in Atlanta, Georgia.

It was at a weather conference that Allison and Mike first met. Allison, a weather nerd, attended the seminar, but Mike was the speaker.

Both of them had something to say about their first encounter. “I liked the weather nerdiness about him,” Allison said.

However, Mike said, “To be honest, it was love at first sight for me. Without her, I couldn’t survive.”

They soon began dating and became engaged.

Is It True That Mike Bettes Was Once Married?

Rumor has it that her spouse Mike was previously wed to Stephanie Abrams. From 2006 to 2009, Stephanie and Mike hosted Abrams & Bettes Beyond the Forecast.

Neither of them has acknowledged whether or not they were married up to this point. We may safely assume that these are all rumors.

In addition, Mike drew criticism for referring to meteorologist Maria LaRose as his ex-wife from work. At that same period, Allison, Mike’s real-life wife, was hosting a program with Maria. He posted the following on Twitter:

The couple is happy to be the parents of a cute little man. On January 31, 2015, she gave birth to her first child, Landen Benjamin Bettes.

Allison has had no trouble balancing her career and parenthood since the baby’s arrival. Let’s just say that she’s doing a fantastic job at it. Additionally, Joplyn is the pet dog that Allison and her husband adopted.

The reporter seldom posts many photos of herself with her family on social media. Mike is the one that frequently posts photos of himself and his child.

Mike and his team went after a tornado in Oklahoma back in June 2013.

Regretfully, the team was unable to cope with the conditions. About 200 yards distant, the crew was flung from their car as the tornado tore through it. They were really twenty to twenty-five feet above the earth.

Mike recalls realizing at that precise time that he was heading towards the skies. He said, “I think that’s the moment everything really slowed down for me and the only thing I remember is her face, like a flash,” expressing how much he missed his wife at that very moment.

After the event, Mike was interviewed by Dave Malkoff of The Weather Channel. Mike started to cry and tear up when he was asked what he was thinking about up there.

Allison was not only thrilled that he had lived. “I’m happy he’s home,” she murmured, her eyes welling with tears.
