Whitney Crane is best known in the baseball community as the wife of Jim Crane, chairman, and owner of the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. The Crane family is well-known in Houston as a result of their prosperous commercial ventures and humanitarian efforts.

In addition to their professional achievements, Astros fans are curious about the CEO’s personal life, particularly his romantic relationships. Here are some interesting details regarding Jim Crane’s wife, Whitney Crane, and the beginning of their relationship.

In a magnificent ceremony, she wed Jim Crane

Jim and Whitney Crane may keep many aspects of their personal lives private, but they did not hesitate to share a photo from their wedding day. In 2017, the pair tied the knot during Memorial Day weekend, surrounded by family and friends.

The Cranes’ wedding reportedly took place at the business magnate’s Floridian National Golf Club. They were flanked by floral swans for the exchange of vows, and their first dance was surrounded by blue hydrangeas, blue delphiniums, gardenias, orchids, and white roses.

The pair had arranged for pop artist Bruno Mars to perform during their first dance as husband and wife. Due to an error, country singer Clay Walker sang while Whitney and Jim danced.

Whitney, the wife of Jim Crane, wore a custom Carolina Herrera wedding gown with blue lace details. The groom wore a white tuxedo jacket and black slacks. All of the visitors wore white, including the general manager and wife of the Houston Astros, Jeff and Gina Luhnow.

Whitney Crane, wife of Jim Crane

Jim and Whitney Crane wed in front of their friends and family in an extravagant ceremony. Given that Jim Crane is a millionaire, it is not unexpected that his wedding was so extravagant.

On the day of their wedding, however, not only the bride and groom were the centers of attention. The couple’s small son stole the spotlight.

Surprisingly, Jim and Whitney Crane, the mother of one and stepmother of two, made their wedding day public despite their private relationship. On their wedding day, the Cranes’ son, James Robert Crane II, was the center of attention.

Unknown are the dates of the businessman and his wife’s courtship and motherhood. According to a 2017 report, Whitney and Jim Crane’s son was three years old at their wedding. According to a story in the Houston Chronicle in October 2017, the child was only 2 years old.

James Crane’s parents adore him despite contradictory information regarding his birth date and age. He supports the Astros by accompanying his mother to games.

James is the only child of Whitney Crane, although she was originally Whitney Wheeler, and her husband had two children from a previous marriage. Before Jim Crane became a corporate billionaire, he was married to Theresa. Jared and Krystal Crane represent their offspring.

Until 2000, Jim’s ex-wife held custody of their children. Crane filed a custody suit, and the proceeding became heated. After their parents’ divorce, the Crane siblings now have a positive connection with their parents.

Whitney and Jared and Krystal Crane-Thompson are close stepchildren. During the custody battle, the chairman of the Houston Astros was married to Franci Neely Crane.

The wife of Jim Crane celebrated her birthday in great style

Whitney Crane has all she desires because her rich partner adores her. She wears Valentino Rockstud heels, expensive jewelry, and a handmade Judith Lieber handbag to a Houston Astros game.

It is therefore not surprising that her birthday is celebrated by the Crane and Astros families. Jim Crane threw his wife a flamingo-themed party in 2019 that featured a performance by the popular rapper Ludacris.

The party was attended by Crane’s friends and family, as well as Houston Astros players and officials.

Robert Kreb and Lynn Miller, the parents of Whitney Crane, were also enjoying themselves. We hope the couple enjoys their time together and opens up more about their lives in the days to come.
