Before receiving a Harvard MBA, Brendan Whitworth, 46, started his career in the CIA and the Marines. At Anheuser-Busch, he finally attained the post of CEO.

After working with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, the Bud Light brand he is in charge of has recently been the subject of intense debate.

People still vividly recall the reaction Bud Light had after joining up with Dylan, as well as the significant fall in Anheuser-Busch’s stock price.

Even bomb threats were made against their plants across the US as a result of the scandal.

Whitworth’s name is currently popular for two reasons: first, there are rumors that he is gay, and second, because of the business tactics he has developed.

Why Do Fans Believe That Brendan Whitworth Is Gay?

The pride month is June. Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth received criticism for how he handled the opposition to Dylan Mulvaney’s Bud Light advertising.

Anheuser-Busch reportedly lost its LGBTQ+ rating after bowing into public pressure, and now some people are calling the CEO queer.

Whitworth’s message was roundly criticized as being insufficient and missing in substance, even if his being homosexual is not valid and only the abuse he has been experiencing.

He lauded the company’s employment record and shied away from contentious topics rather than vigorously advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and underrepresented populations.

In a letter dated May 9, the Human Rights Campaign suspended Anheuser-Busch’s ranking on the Corporate Equality Index.

In reaction to the harsh outcry, the campaign highlighted the company’s lack of support for the LGBTQ+ community.

When conservatives propagated rumors that the CEO had worked for the CIA in the past, the situation grew more heated.

They conjectured that the government had planned Whitworth’s hiring by the business to forward a “woke” agenda.

CEO of Anheuser-Busch: Brendan Whitworth has a plan for his comeback

Regarding recent reports, Brendan Whitworth confirms that financial assistance is being given to wholesalers and beer distributors who have been negatively impacted by the boycott response.

The CEO of Anheuser-Busch accepted responsibility and voiced worry about the effects on staff, customers, and distributors.

As was already known, a video showing Dylan Mulvaney getting customized Bud Light cans offended several people.

The boycott, which was supported by conservatives like Kid Rock and Travis Tritt, caused Modelo to overtake Bud Light as the most popular beer in America.

Some members of the LGBTQ+ community joined the boycott as a result of the backlash after being dissatisfied with Anheuser-Busch’s response through different remarks.

He stressed that Bud Light has long supported the LGBTQ+ community and that this support dates back to 1998 when asked about the company’s position on LGBTQ+ rights.

Whitworth also emphasized their dedication to helping relevant causes, groups, and communities while concentrating on their business.

He mentioned that as the business moves forward, they want to focus on its strengths, which include producing great beer for everyone and actively listening to its customers.

Additionally, the plan called for protecting employees’ welfare, addressing them with humility, and having a beneficial effect on the communities they serve.

In their encounters with over 100,000 customers over the previous month, the response was quite obvious.

According to Whitworth, customers wanted to emphasize the fundamental principles that Bud Light has always stood for.

To give an example, these essential principles include offering simple delight, encouraging benevolence, and producing pleasurable experiences.

In addition, the CEO disclosed Anheuser-Busch’s intention to treble its investment in Bud Light this year, which will coincide with the start of its next summer marketing campaign.
