In the film Love Without Borders, a group of American singles who have given up everything in search of love are followed.

Atlanta native Philip Michael Thomas Jr. is one of many eager to take a chance on love. His Bravo profile states that he has been single for seven months and celibate for four.

According to a press release from Bravo:

The five Americans who risk everything for love in the episode are Aaron Motacek, Danna Richards, Philip Michael Thomas Jr., Naeem Thompson, and Gurleen Virk.

It continues:

“They’ve all realized they’re stuck in a rut and need to change where and how they look for partners. They might be waiting for them on the opposite side of the planet with the love they seek and the life they desire.

On Love Without Borders, the Atlanta musician is looking to find love. He was the son of Philip Michael Thomas and Dharma, and grew up surrounded by famous people like Betty Wright and the Marleys.

At a young age, Philip started acting in musical theater, choirs, solo performances, and other initiatives. Before joining The Exclusives (formerly Move Sumthin’ Productions), he attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

The Love Without Borders star’s official stage name is Philip Michael, which he chose after putting out a few successful albums and writing songs for a few other performers. This includes time spent as a founding member of M.O.S.T., a musical ensemble led by Betty Wright.

After performing for Czar Entertainment with Jimmy Rosemund, the rising reality TV star started recording music with some of the biggest names in the business, including Akon, Tank, and Shakespeare.

The artist already has a sizable international following, which is predicted to grow even further after the Bravo program. He currently has over 19K followers on Instagram and is very active there. He frequently utilizes the forum to talk about his work and his love of food.

He will travel to Ghana to spend time with Carmen in the upcoming program, and the teaser depicts him discovering her culture. But as time goes on, the two start to disagree. He is heard on the phone in the trailer saying:

She didn’t go with me yesterday night as I went home. She left the area and went somewhere else.

Later on in the episode, as the two are arguing, Carmen makes it clear that he isn’t listening. Time will tell if Philip would sacrifice all for love or return home empty-handed.
