People are curious to find out more information about Mel Tiangco husband. Mel Tiangco, real name Carmela Corro Tiangco, is a news anchor and television personality from the Philippines. She is a frequent contributor to GMA News and Public Affairs and a multi-awarded news anchor.

After graduating from De La Salle University, Tiangco became well-known in Philippine television news programs. In September 1981, she debuted on television, hosting the cultural show “Encore” and serving as the anchor of the newscast “Newscenter 4” on the state-run channel MBS.

Mel was employed by the government until the fall of the Marcos dictatorship. She later relocated to ABS-CBN where she worked as the co-anchor of the network’s old news program, Balita Ngayon. She rose to fame as one of the initial anchors of TV Patrol, ABS-CBN’s premier news program, from 1987 until 1995.

From 1996 to 1999, she served as the host of Saksi on the GMA Network, and from 1999 to 2004, she hosted Frontpage: Ulat ni Mel Tiangco. She co-hosted the talk shows Sanib Puwersa with Arnold Clavio with fellow journalist Jay Sonza, and Mel & Jay, Mel & Joey, with writer-comedian-TV host Joey de Leon. Details about Mel Tiangco’s husband

It is unknown whether Tiangco is married or in a relationship because she has not made her relationship status public. The specifics of Mel Tiangco’s marriage have piqued interest. It will be updated as soon as new details about her relationship are made public. Jose Miguel, Ana Teresa, and Melanie are her three kids.

Information about her husband’s name is unknown. Mel prefers to conceal her own belongings. This information will soon be updated. Wency Cornejo, a musician best known for being the lead singer of the Filipino rock group AfterImage (active in the 1990s), is Tiangco’s son.

Relationship timeline for Jay Sonza

GMA-7 is centered on the conflict between Tiangco and Jay Sonza, a former co-host of Mel & Jay and ABS-CBN. The ABS-CBN program Mel & Jay ran from 1989 to 1996. The investigation was completed in 16 years. GMA-7 released a formal statement in March 2011 in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to reject ABS-CBN’s claims against Tiangco, Sonza, and GMA-7.

Mel & Jay, an ABS-CBN Sunday TV program, was previously hosted by Tiangco and Sonza. The Supreme Court determined that Mel and Jay were free to end their contract with ABS-CBN and that GMA-7 had no effect on their decision to leave the network.

The statement reads, “There was no evidence that GMA persuaded Mel and Jay to leave ABS-CBN because they had already rescinded their agreements with ABS-CBN when the two transferred to GMA.”

Globally, this media standard is used. A news source cannot promote a product, whether it is written or televised. He or she is not permitted to use the credibility established as a journalist to solicit endorsements. Despite the general public’s ignorance of it, this is what led ABS-CBN to suspend Tiangco.

Mel was fined by having her three-month, payless suspension from her roles as co-anchor of TV Patrol and the Mel & Jay radio show. She did, however, continue to show up on Sundays for Mel & Jay. Later, Jay left ABS-CBN, while Mel walked away from the network permanently and refused to appear on the program.
