American gospel singer Kirk Franklin’s adopted daughter is named Carrington Franklin. Carrington Franklin, the Franklin family’s eldest child, is currently Liz Kennedy Brand Management’s CEO and Creative Director.

She is a social media sensation in addition to having a great profession in branding and marketing. She is also married, and she and her husband share a son. What else? We will discuss information on her biological father, job, net worth, and relationship with her husband in this article.

Although gospel musician Kirk Franklin is her famous father, he is not her real father. She was actually conceived as a result of Tammy Collin’s previous relationship and is her biological mother’s daughter.

In case you were unaware, Carrington is a knowledgeable person. She completed her education at a neighborhood school in her hometown before going on to Baylor University from 2007 to 2011. She graduated from there with a BA in management, public relations, and journalism.

Carrington Franklin later attended Dallas Baptist University from 2012 to 2014, where she earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication Management. She has been actively engaged in her field professionally ever since.

There are three half-siblings in the family in addition to Carrington: Kennedy Franklin, Kerrion Franklin, and Caziah Franklin. Kennedy and Caziah were born from the marriage of her mother Tammy and her stepfather Kirk, whilst Kerrion was a product of her father’s previous relationship.

Once, Her Brother Was Arrested

The Beverly Hills Police detained Carrington’s half-brother in April 2022. He was reportedly operating the car belonging to a woman who was believed to be missing and dead. When the authorities detained Kerrior, they also searched the car and discovered a weapon inside, which Kerrior claimed was not his.

He was then detained by the police, and after around two months in jail, a judge cleared him of all charges.

Franklin gets along well with both of her parents. Despite the fact that Kirk is not her actual father, their relationship seems to be much closer. She frequently posts pictures of him on her social media since she is quite proud of him. In fact, she never skips an opportunity to spend time with him, whether it’s his birthday, Father’s Day, or even their wedding anniversary.

She posted a lovely picture of her parents on her Instagram in January 2019 to wish them a happy anniversary. Not only that, but she also mentioned in the caption how fortunate she is to have parents like them.

I’m so fortunate to see your amazing love firsthand, Dallas Baptist University Degree NameMaster of Arts – MAField Of Mommy + Daddy, she wrote. I can’t express how grateful I am for your leadership, openness, and sage advice for my own marriage. I U and Happy Anniversary.

Additionally, in January 2020, she and her entire family came together to celebrate her father’s 50th birthday, and they all appeared to be having a good time.

Carrington, Kirk’s daughter, has a prosperous job in marketing and brand management. She currently holds the positions of CEO and Creative Director at Liz Kennedy Brand Management, where her firm is doing fairly well.

She had previously worked for a number of other companies. From June 2008 until August 2008, she worked as an intern for KLTY Christian Radio. She later worked as an intern at Karmen Johnson & Associates from May 2009 to August 2010. She then completed an internship from August 2011 to November 2011 with Girl Scouts of Central Texas.

As a Social Media/Marketing Manager at UT Arlington Continuing Education, she held her first professional position. She spent 18 months there, from March 2012 to August 2013, at that job. From August 2013 to May 2014, she served as the Executive Assistant at Treasure You and Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities.

Additionally, she was employed at The University of Texas in Arlington as an event coordinator. She worked there from April 2014 to November 2015.

Children And Husband Of Carrington Franklin

Carrington is married, as we all know. Maxx Nakwaasah, her ex-boyfriend who is now her husband, is her spouse. On October 1, 2016, they were wed in a lovely ceremony at Dallas Union Station. On their special day, the couple appeared to be enjoying each other’s company, and the bride even referred to the wedding as a “dream.”

At a Dallas, Texas, botanic garden in October 2015, Maxx had previously popped the question to Carrington. She could not wait to share the exciting news on her Instagram after saying yes to her future husband.

I asked my best buddy, who asked me to spend the rest of my life with him this past Saturday morning, “Is this for real?!” I responded “YES.”

When she was just 20 years old in 2009, the couple first became together. It is said that they started dating in 2011 and have been together ever then. As a married couple, they have a wonderful relationship that we hope lasts forever.
