Since the culprit was said to have been identified via DNA profiling, searches for Bryan Kohberger’s parents have been more popular online.

On December 30, 2022, Kohberger was taken into custody at his parents’ house in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

Michael and MaryAnn Kohberger, the suspect’s parents, were questioned about the killings after his arrest.

Bryan’s parents then issued a statement addressing the problems and expressing regret for their son’s actions.

Who Are the parents of Bryan Kohberger?

Michael and MaryAnn Kohberger, Bryan Kohberger’s parents, were living in Pennsylvania at the time of his arrest.

MaryAnn Kohberger, Bryan’s mother, is a 62-year-old paraprofessional who works with kids, according to reports.

About Michael, Bryan’s father, not much is known. His older sister, Mellisa, a mental health therapist, is well recognized.

On January 1, Kohberger’s parents issued a joint statement via his attorneys outlining their opinions on the killings.

The message opened with regret at the occurrence and condolences from the Kohbergers. They continued by saying that they prayed for the deceased’s relatives.

Instead of forming incorrect assumptions, Kohberger’s parents supported the “presumption of innocence” for their son.

As the Kohbergers and the relatives of the victims pushed through with the legal procedure, the statement’s conclusion included a request for privacy in the case.
