At the age of 20, Danielle Riley Keough, an American actress, debuted in the feature film industry. Her first significant role was in the supporting cast of the 2010 musical biopic The Runaways, in which she portrayed Marie Currie.

After making her film début, she secured a supporting role in the independent thriller The Good Doctor and a small part in the comedy film Magic Mike, directed by Steven Soderbergh.

It was her performance in the action film Mad Max: Fury Road that marked her foray into high-budget productions.

Following this, in 2016, Keough attained a momentous professional achievement with her groundbreaking performance as an escort in the premiere season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience.

Her exceptional performance garnered her a meritorious nomination for Best Actress at the Golden Globe Awards.

Lisa Marie and Danny Keough, the Parents of Riley Keough

Riley Marie Presley and Danny Keough, both musicians, were the proud parents of her on May 29, 1989.

She is the firstborn grandchild of Priscilla Presley, an actress, and the legendary singer Elvis Presley.

Furthermore, Danny Keough, the father of Riley, is an accomplished musician and was previously wed to Lisa Marie. Danny, according to The Guardian, was a bassist in the ensemble led by her mother.

Lisa Marie and Danny became acquainted when she was 17 years old; they were married in 1988 when she turned 20.

However, at the age of five, her parents divorced. Michael Jackson was briefly wed to her mother from 1994 to 1996.

Because Lisa was the only child of the renowned Elvis Presley, she led an extravagant lifestyle. Riley, her daughter, also acknowledged to The Guardian that her parents’ lifestyles were opposed.

She stated, “My mother raised me in extreme privilege, but my father did not enjoy the same lifestyle.” And I believe that having been on both parties has been beneficial. In his residences, mattresses littered the floors, per my father.

Her mother, Lisa Marie, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54.

Family of Riley Keough

Riley was born into a lineage of nobility in the music industry. With 18 number-one singles, her grandfather Elvis accomplished a noteworthy accomplishment, whereas Lisa, Riley’s mother, authored and released three albums throughout her tenure.

Danny and Lisa were entrusted with the responsibility of nurturing two children, Danielle “Riley” and Benjamin Keough, during their brief six-year marriage.

Benjamin passed away untimely in 2020, at the tender age of 27.

Furthermore, Harper and Finley, her two half-sisters, were conceived as a result of her mother’s fourth union with Michael Lockwood. Finley and Harper Harper are siblings.

Since February 4, 2015, Keough has been matrimoniously wed to Ben Smith-Petersen. One infant has been born to the couple as a union.

Keough, who portrayed the alluring pop star Daisy Jones in “Daisy Jones & The Six,” admitted that before undertaking the role, she wasn’t much of a singer.

When asked by People in 2022 whether she was inspired by a real-life musical icon such as Daisy Jones, Riley responded that her mother—a person much closer to her heart—was the source of her inspiration.

Riley candidly acknowledged that her mother, Lisa Marie, served as a profound source of motivation, characterizing her as an exceptionally resilient and shrewd individual.

She proceeded, “I was brought up by an individual who followed her path and was not overly concerned with the opinions of others.” She undeniably served as an inspiration to me.

Riley Keough expanded her career beyond acting into the realm of modeling. It was during her debut on the runway for Dolce & Gabbana that she began her modeling career.

Significantly, she appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine in the company of her mother and grandmother, thereby reinforcing her prominence within the fashion sector.
