Stolz established both the junior world record and the American record in the 500 meters with a time of 34.11 during the 2021–2022 ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Salt Lake City, where he made his international debut.

He also broke the junior world 1,000-meter record with a time of 1:07.62. This exceptional accomplishment helped him gain notoriety and raised expectations for his future. At the 2023 World Junior Speed Skating Championships, Stolz solidified his dominance by taking home five gold and two bronze medals, making him the overall World Junior Speed Skating champion.

Who Are Dirk And Jan Stolz, Jordan Stolz’s Parents?

The parents of Jordan Stolz are from the working class. Like any other middle-class parent, they merely want to see their children flourish and realize their dreams. Jane Stolz, Jordan’s mother, works as a dental hygienist. In a similar vein, Dirk Stolz, his father, works in law enforcement. Jordan has always fostered his passion for skating, which he has had since he was five years old.

Hannah Stolz, a daughter of Jane and Dirk, is a year older than him. Hannah has a similar obsession with skating to him. Her parents claim that she picked up skating more quickly than Jordan Stolz did.

Hannah was skating like a pro while Jordan was griping about how slippery the ice was. Dirk bought a pair of inline skates for young Jordan at a rummage sale and spent hours skating laps in the driveway.

Additionally, out of fear of mishaps, Dirk placed exterior lights in the pool against his wife’s wishes. Jordan’s costs for speedskating are largely covered by Jane and her husband Dirk’s taxidermy business.

Jordan’s appetite is increasing, so the family makes an annual trip to Alaska to fish for halibut and salmon, go moose hunting, and haul the catch back to Wisconsin. A deer and elk farm used to belong to the family as well.

Jordan Stolz’s parents have even altered their routines and taken up other jobs to support him professionally. Jan supports himself while going to school by working a part-time job. Dirk also began working the third shift to keep transporting Jordan to practice every day. They believe that for things to function, family members and parents must be prepared to make sacrifices like those made by athletes.

Jordan Stolz’s earnings

As of 2023, Jordan Stolz had amassed a massive $250,000. He acquired it through taking part in competitions, receiving awards, and competing in national and Olympic events. Stolz, a Wisconsin teenager, honed his skating abilities on the pond next to his family’s house. Like many others, Jordan developed an interest in the activity after seeing Apolo Anton Ohno dominate the short track at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

a recent growth spurt and the roughly 30 pounds of muscle he put on while cycling and training. In every situation, even during his games, he maintains his composure. It doesn’t matter what happens, therefore he doesn’t feel any pressure. He only wants to get some worthwhile experience.

Although Jorda Stolz’s parents have advised him to have a backup plan in case of mishaps or other unfavorable circumstances, skating has always been his passion. In addition to winning the World Cup, he has already played in his first Olympic game in 2022. The Olympic trials went well, with two new marks being established on the track and a promising outlook for Beijing.

At the World Single Distance Championships, he made history by becoming the first male speed skater to take home three solo gold medals. He won the 1500m on the last day of the four-day competition at Heerenveen, Netherlands.

On March 3, 2023, Stolz won the 500 m, becoming the youngest gold medalist since the 1996 launch of the world single distances championships. On March 4th, 2023, he won the 1000m. At sea level, he skated the 500 and 1000 meters in the second-fastest times in history.
