Both his parents and his admirers adore Jacob Elordi, a rising Hollywood star. The actor, who gained fame after appearing in “The Kissing Booth” and “Euphoria,” frequently talks about his parents during interviews. Jacob speaks so highly of his lovely parents that it’s hard not to be curious about the people who raised him.

Who is the father of Jacob Elordi?

On June 26, 1997, Jacob Elordi was born to John and Melissa Elordi. The youngest of four children with three elder sisters, Jacob enjoyed an excellent childhood.

In a GQ video interview, the actor said,

“I was spoiled growing up as the baby, and I’m still spoiled. “I’ve always been spoiled,”

John, his father, is of Basque ancestry. Melissa, on the other hand, is of Australian and English ancestry.

Jacob’s father immigrated from the Basque Country

Jacob’s father, John, did not have the same opulent upbringing as he did. John’s parents moved to Australia from the Basque Country when he was just eight years old. John and his dad had just eight dollars with them when they initially landed in Australia. Jacob stated in an interview for the El Pais cover story for March 2022, “I’m really proud of that heritage.”

The Father of Jacob is a house painter. He built Jacob’s childhood home in Brisbane over the course of 13 years. According to the actor, his father is the “totem of the kind of man that I would like to be.” John keeps encouraging his actor son even if he is still baffled by his success.

He’ll continue to ask, “Are you shooting the one… where you’re kissing?” Do you work in the booth? “No, Dad, I swear I’m making great movies.” What do you mean by the one where you identify as American? She responds, “I’m American in all of them, Dad.”

Mother of Jacob Loves Jacob’s On-Screen Personas

On the other hand, Melissa, Jacob’s mother, is fully informed and aware of her son’s profession. She is described by Jacob as “the most loving, present, just beautiful, angelic human being on this planet.” It’s understandable why Jacob’s mother appreciates the characters he portrays. Melissa called the actor’s Nate after viewing a “Euphoria” episode where he was imprisoned for assault to get some context. She was devastated since Nate makes her think of her own child, the actress claims.

Parents of Jacob Elordi Honor His Career

Jacob made the decision to become an actor at the age of 13 after witnessing Heath Ledger in “The Dark Knight.” John talked about his son’s love of theater and cinema in a Daily Mail Australia interview. He enjoyed the theater a lot. He ate up movies. He devoured books about movies. Occasionally, I’ll read two or three books at once. He watched actress audition videos on YouTube.

Jacob was growing more interested in acting while his mother, Melissa, was focused on her oldest daughter, Isabella Elordi, who was pursuing dance. He was always certain of his career goals. And I once told him, “Mate, acting is a one-in-a-million type of thing,” in my capacity as his father. John mentioned his son’s enthusiasm. “And he questioned, “Well, why can’t I be that one? ” “How come I’m not the one in a million,” you ask.

Because that is how Jacob convinced his parents to support him wholeheartedly. Since Jacob’s acting career has taken off, his parents are without a doubt his biggest supporters. His mother and father both proudly don t-shirts that feature images from almost every role Jacob has played.
