Fritz Wepper Wife: What Happened To Angela Von Morgen?

In January 2019, Angela Wepper, the beloved spouse of the esteemed German actor Fritz Wepper, met with a tragic and unanticipated demise. She passed away at the age of 76 due to a cerebral hemorrhage, causing deep sorrow among her family and acquaintances. The catastrophic event transpired at Schon-Klinik Vogtareuth, the medical facility to which Angela was admitted on December 27th after an unanticipated accident at her residence.

The next day, she was admitted to the hospital, and although her condition appeared to be non-critical at first, the situation rapidly deteriorated. Throughout her lifetime, Angela had experienced a multitude of mobility issues, the majority of which could be attributed to the multiple foot surgeries she had undergone. The consequences of these operations on her stability were sporadic collapses. However, her loved ones were unprepared for the sequence of events that ensued following her previous autumn.

An additional source of sorrow for the family was the recollection of Angela’s recent medical ordeal. Angela had courageously endured surgery to clear blockages in her carotid arteries just before her departure. Throughout this procedure, she had approached mortality perilously. Angela miraculously recovered and even exuded a renewed sense of optimism.

She anxiously anticipated the joyous atmosphere of Christmas, anticipating spending the holiday encircled in the affection of her five cherished grandchildren. Their existence in her life served as a sanctuary, providing comfort and happiness during the most arduous periods. In light of Angela’s recent bereavement over the cancer-related death of her sister, Felicitas Countess Piccolomini, this unexpected bereavement was particularly poignant. The abruptness with which Angela departs serves as a poignant reminder of the transient quality of life.

Fritz Wepper’s Daughter Sophie Is An Actress

By continuing the successful career of her renowned father, Fritz Wepper, Sophie Margarita Wepper has established a niche for herself in the acting industry. Sophie von Morgen, the progeny of Fritz Wepper and Countess of Gortz Angela von Morgen, was promptly acquainted with the public eye. Beyond personal matters, her relationship with her father is evident in their collaboration on the crime series “Mord in bester Gesellschaft” from 2007 to 2017, which effectively demonstrated their evident rapport on screen.

Sophie first dabbled in television much earlier, co-starring with her father in the 1991 series “Derrick.” With a strong desire to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of her discipline, she enrolled in television journalism courses at the Bavarian Academy of Television between 2002 and 2003.

Following that, she spent a year refining her abilities during a practical training phase at Lisa Film GmbH, an Austrian-German film production company. Sophie had successfully positioned herself in the television industry by 2003, attaining supporting roles in the television series “In Aller Freundschaft.” Her devotion, however, extended beyond acting. Additionally, Sophie demonstrated her versatility by stepping behind the camera.

She successfully concluded an extensive rotating apprenticeship for the episode “Odyssee des Herzens” from the television series “Unter weißen Segeln.” It is worth noting that this episode, which was filmed in Greece, also showcased her father, Fritz Wepper, thereby underscoring the interconnectedness of their respective careers.
