Caroline Werner’s Video Has Gone Viral

Caroline Werner’s video became viral rapidly on the internet. A Brazilian woman has spoken out against her country’s “double standards” after being imprisoned for walking her dog nude from the waist up.

Caroline Werner, a bikini model, has denounced her country’s “patriarchal, violent culture” for prohibiting her from being naked because she is a woman, and she fears a year in prison as a result of the prank. The 37-year-old has slammed Brazilian regulations, wondering why women should be punished for performing a task that a man could easily perform.

According to the firm’s owner, she was detained by the Municipal Guard while taking a topless promenade in Balneário Cambori, a vacation city in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, and “roughed up” by police.

She also said she was handcuffed to the bars of her detention cell. However, she stated that, while gender equality is a constitutional requirement in her nation, it is not a reality. This system, along with the forceful interpretation of the law, denies her the same freedom and forces her to give it up. Ms. Werner reported that she chose to take her top off while walking her dogs home from the beach.

After being accosted by many police officers, she was hauled into prison, transferred in a car, and given a shirt to disguise her breasts at the police station. The model also alleged that police had violated her right to due process by preventing her from communicating with friends or legal counsel. Ms. Werner expressed her amazement at being jailed in Brazil for being nude in public, noting that she had never had any problems doing so on prior visits throughout the world.
