Brady was in his early twenties and struggling to create a name for himself in Hollywood at the time. He told Closer Weekly about his wife and advised her not to marry in her early twenties.

“My first wife is a wonderful person, but you shouldn’t marry when you’re 20 or 21 because you still don’t know who you are.” “I believe the lesson was to not rush into things.”

Based on the remarks above, we may deduce that the cause for their divorce was perhaps their early marriage.

In her petition, she demanded shared legal and physical custody. Furthermore, the lady requested spousal assistance, which was denied because they both became accountable for their legal bills.

Brady’s spokesperson informed People that they separated on mutual terms.

In 2019, the TV personality informed Us Weekly about Taketa, saying,

“She is the most amazing woman in the world and one of the most amazing mothers I have ever met.” Our daughter is proof of it, as is the fact that she smacks me about it. She’s the reason I believe I’ve achieved so much success.”

Wayne went on to say that they are “better friends than” husband and wife.

He went on to say,

“‘Girl, you should marry your best buddy,’ everyone says. It’s wonderful to always be able to find that individual. He’s your closest buddy, and the two of you can do anything.”

He also stated that they are not quarantining under the same roof, but rather spend most of their time together in one another’s homes. He stated,

“We live next door to each other.” As a result, our quarantine is a bit different. We quarantine between our houses, and because I have a large backyard and a lot of acreage, we both share this area and this space.”

Furthermore, Wayne had a terrific relationship with Mandie’s boyfriend, Jason. When it comes to his ex-wife and her new partner, Whose Line Is It Anyway? According to People magazine,

“I love my ex-wife, she’s my best friend, and her boyfriend Jason is my boy.”

Wayne Brady previously battled depression. He had hardly recovered from the terrible news of one of the greatest comedians of all time, Robin Williams, who committed suicide in August 2014. Brady also tweeted after his death, “Depression is real. God’s blessings on him and his family.”

However, a few months after Williams’ death, the actor was diagnosed with the same condition. Wayne admitted to having a “complete breakdown” on his 42nd birthday. He also claimed that he struggled alone for a long time before his ex-wife Mandie helped him get it together and recuperate. He went on to say,

“To say she’s my best friend in the world is an understatement.” I have a lady at my back who threatens, ‘If you touch him, I will cut you,’ even though she is not my wife.

If they have a woman like Mandie in their life, it may be a great blessing. We wish them and their family the best.
