More power to Valentina Sampaio, a model who discovered the bravery to reject societal norms and be who she truly is. Although Valentina Sampaio is frequently referred to as a transgender model, that is not who she is exclusive to. She is a leader who has dominated the fashion industry and inspired countless numbers of people.

The Experience of Her Before Surgery

Sampaio was born in a different body, one she didn’t particularly like. She is the first transgender model to appear on the cover of French Vogue in 2021.

Even though they may stand for something, this Brazilian beauty dislikes the use of terms like “LGBT” or “transsexual,” as she feels that each person should be allowed to express themselves as they see fit.

Juan, Maria, and Valentina are each who they are. She added that she wished to strive for a “better world” while speaking.

Sampaio also expresses her appreciation to her parents for growing her in a home where she felt at ease and free to express herself, even as a young boy; she “felt like a little lady.”

For the benefit of our readers, transgender people are people who identify as a gender other than the one they were ‘born’ with. We would like to sincerely apologize if we introduced Valentina with tags that she might not be comfortable with out of respect for her views.

According to insider sources, a psychologist first recognized her as transgender when she was eight years old, but she didn’t begin using the name Valentina until she was twelve.

Sampaio, who has walked the red carpet at numerous fashion shows up to the Met Gala, had to overcome her fair share of obstacles to break into the field.

Wars of Valentina Sampaio

Sampaio, who appeared in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue in 2020 and on the cover of Vogue France in 2017, talked about how she was treated in the business before she became famous.

Sampaio was also a guest on the “VS Voices” podcast from Victoria’s Secret, where she discussed how she was “fired and humiliated” by a company after they learned she was transgender.

Even though she omitted the brand’s name, she did mention,

It was devastating to be fired and treated badly on set that day, but it also fueled my determination to go over my own heartbreak.

Valentina is a key component of Victoria’s Secret’s new VS Collective campaign, which has replaced the iconic Victoria’s Secret Angels with images of women who have empowered millions.

Sampaio underwent gender surgery, often known as sex reassignment surgery, in 2014, according to HindustanTimes. She was a well-known “androgynous model” who walked in several renowned runway events, including Vogue Paris, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and many others, before having surgery.

Valentina Sampaio faced numerous obstacles along the way, but she overcame them head-on and emerged from the experience stronger than before. She has already appeared on the covers of prominent fashion publications including Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vogue.

Although this 24-year-road old’s access was not an easy one, she is now highly renowned as one of the most sought-after models.
