Kaillie Humphries, who had previously won two gold medals for Canada, earned her third medal for Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics in the women’s mono-bob event. Two months after becoming a naturalized citizen of the United States, the bobsledder left Team Canada for Team USA.

Due to her marriage to the former bobsledder Travis Armbruster, the Canadian-born woman, age 36, resided in the United States. Even though he has been in the United States since 2016, Humphries competed for Canada until 2019. She left the Canadian bobsleigh team in 2019 after filing harassment accusations against the squad.

What is Kaillie Humphries’ husband’s name?

Kaillie Humphries married former bobsledder Travis Armbruster in September 2019, following a lengthy courtship. The union between Humphries and Armbruster made it possible for her to petition for US citizenship, letting her compete for Team USA.

Humphries lauded Travis in an Instagram post announcing her citizenship in which she praised Travis. She stated, “My husband is my rock.

He is a man who believes in and supports me, going out of his way to assure my well-being. He inspires me to achieve greater heights, and I admire him with all my heart. He is my entire world!”

The career of Travis Armbruster in bobsleighing

Travis Armbruster was a professional bobsledder and personal trainer in the past. While studying Fitness and Kinesiology at Pittsburgh State University, Armbruster played a variety of sports.

The 37-year-old member of the Track and Field squad also participated in football for the Pittsburgh State Gorillas. After graduating, Armbruster began working as a personal trainer, and it was during this time that he was selected to the 2009 U.S. bobsled team.

In 2009 and 2010, Armbruster raced for the United States and even participated in Olympic training 2010. In 2010, he won two medals at the North American Cup, one of his most remarkable feats in this sport.

The happily married couple routinely compliments one another on social media. Humphries uploaded a beach photo with her spouse and the message “Life with you is the stuff of dreams” last month.

Travis Armbruster had already stated on Instagram that he would not be attending the Winter Olympics in China with Humphries, but that did not prevent him from posting updates on his wife.

In a recent Instagram post praising Humphries’ triumph, Armbruster observed, “@kailliehumphries is in boss mode. I admire you.”
