The couple recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary with their wonderful family. The couple first met in California. Tom was working at his insurance company at the time, and Galynn was a flight attendant.

While most of the details of their relationship before marriage were kept private, their marriage and life together are open books. On April 19, 1969, Tom Brady Sr and Galynn Brady married

Unfortunately, even this blessed couple had to endure some adversity. In 2016, Galynn Brady was diagnosed with breast cancer, a serious illness. Tom stayed with his wife and supported her through the arduous chemotherapy treatments for five months as a testament to their love.

The elderly couple had never missed one of their son’s games before, but they had to miss many games during the treatment. Galynn, thankfully, was successful in her battle against the disease. Furthermore, Tom Brady Jr. had just won Super Bowl LII at the time, so it was a double celebration for the Brady family.

To honor her, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft presented Galynn with a Super Bowl ring following the team’s victory in Super Bowl LI.

Children

Tom and Galynn Brady have four children: three daughters and one son. The couple raised their children in a competitive environment. Furthermore, the Bradys had always been quite athletic. Tom Brady Sr. frequently speaks about everything he has done in the past to instill healthy competition in his children.

Maureen Brady

Maureen Brady is the eldest child of Tom Sr. and Galynn Brady. Brady was a softball champion as a child, and she was an All-American pitcher at Fresno State in the 1990s.

Their family used to go to their matches back then, and little Tom Jr. looked up to his eldest sister a lot. He had repeatedly stated that she was the family’s best athlete. She did, however, pursue a career in nursing after college and now works at a local hospital in Bakersfield, California.

Maureen revealed in an interview that when Tom Jr was in grade 9, he wrote that they would one day be known as Tom Brady’s sisters. “One day, I’m going to be a household name,” the athlete told his mother.
