Tom Berenger and Laura Moretti have a happy marriage. They were wed on September 8, 2012, and she is his fourth wife. Berenger’s wife and he are childless.

Despite this, she is the stepmother to six of his kids from his previous marriages. Similarly, the actor is Julia Spurlock’s stepfather. Julia is his wife’s child. Although Berenger and Moretti have been married for almost ten years, the actor hasn’t revealed much about his spouse.

The actor from Platoon doesn’t post frequently on social media, and his son Patrick Moore is in charge of his Instagram account.

Several of those posts include Berenger and his wife. The account published a throwback image from the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards, where Berenger was honored for his performance in Hatfields & McCoys, in September 2021. The actor was pictured with his husband during the event, according to the post. At the Emmys, Berenger was also seen showing his wife a lot of affection.

The 2012 Emmys was one of several prominent events that Berenger and his wife attended together. In 2013, 30 years after the release of The Big Chill, the two also went to the film’s reunion.

Before meeting Moretti, Berenger had already been married three times. His first spouse was Barbara Wilson, whom he wed in 1976. Berenger and his first wife, Allison Moore, and Patrick Moore, had two children together in 1977 and 1979.

Except the fact that the latter oversees the actor’s Instagram account, Allison and Patrick are comparatively obscure. Wilson and Berenger got divorced in February 1984, although they never talked about their reasons for doing so.

Before getting married to Lisa Berenger, he was single for the following two years. The two got hitched on July 19, 1986, and they were together for 11 years.

During this time, Lisa gave birth to three daughters. Their first child, Chelsea Moore, was born in 1986. When Chloe Moore was born two years later, in 1988, their family grew even larger. Shiloh Moore, their last child, was born to Berenger and Lisa in 1993.

The actor divorced his wife in 1997 and then again in 1999. Berenger remarried Patricia Alvaran on January 23, 1998, a year after their first union. They welcomed Scout Moore, their daughter, the same year.

Divorce of Berenger and Patricia Alvaran

When Berenger recruited Dean Bell to assist him in revising his and Alvaran’s prenuptial agreement, Bell was accused of professional malpractice in 2005.

According to Berenger in an interview with The Sun, Bell encouraged him to sign the addendum provided by Alvaran’s attorney without making any changes or offering any suggestions. Before this, the premarital contract limited alimony payments in the case of divorce to a sum of $50,000.

The actor, however, asserted that as a result of the modification, Bell’s alleged legal carelessness cost him more than $100,000. According to the source, Berenger was also asking for punitive damages in addition to compensatory damages.
