Dr. Antonique Peterson and Patrick Peterson have been wed since 2012. Parker, a boy, and Paityn, a girl, are their two children. She was on the front lines when the COVID-19 epidemic started because Peterson’s wife is a doctor.

Patrick started up treating a few COVID-19 patients who were just mildly affected, working a twelve-hour shift six days a week. She was admitted to the ICU in May 2020 to care for seriously ill patients, where she witnessed the perils of the pandemic firsthand.

Patrick Peterson’s wife put in countless hours throughout the Pandemic

When Antonique came home from work, she was not only a doctor but also the mother of two young kids. She was able to juggle both her profession and parenthood. On May 29, 2020, Peterson told the Arizona Cardinals’ official website, “It’s incredible for her to be able to take all of that.” The NFL player said that his partner’s employment situation had caused his family to go through a “very, very terrible phase.”

His wife had to be extra careful, taking all necessary precautions after returning from her work at a neighboring hospital. Peterson encouraged his wife’s work and established the necessary arrangements for her to sterilize effectively.

She would make her way to the guesthouse and take a shower after returning from work by way of the garage and backyard. She also received a small locker space where she could keep her medical supplies. Peterson claims that his wife instilled in their daughter Paityn the seriousness of the situation. She also made sure her diabetic husband took all the required precautions to avoid contracting the infection.

Patrick Peterson called his wife a hero in his speech

In honor of National Doctors Day on March 31, 2020, the football star uploaded a picture of his wife to Instagram. He complimented her for her valiant efforts throughout the outbreak in the caption. He began his lengthy essay by saying, “Not all heroes wear capes. Mine wears a white coat.

Peterson continued by pointing out how doctors were fighting the disease on the front lines in every country on the planet. Peterson urged readers to do their part to protect “our physicians” and others who work in hospitals and other medical facilities near the end of his book.

He made similar remarks in an interview with ESPN in June 2020. He described the effects that breaking the rules and maintaining poor hygiene would have on everyone in the home. According to him, sanitation and caution were needed to combat the infection.

Peterson also mentioned how his relatives made sure that everyone in his family’s home was safe. He asserts that the Peterson family followed social distance rules, regularly cleaned the surfaces, and washed their hands as often as was practical.

Similarly, his wife took extra care by keeping her patients sedated in the family’s guesthouse until the COVID-19 test resulted in a negative result. Peterson expressed hope at the end of the discussion that the health issue will soon “roll over,” allowing everyone to go back to their regular lives.
