Karla Homolka is widely regarded as the most reviled person in Canada; Thierry Bordelais gained notoriety for being her second husband.

She is a notorious serial murderer who hails from Ontario, Canada, and she is currently serving time for the deaths of three children that took place between 1990 and 1992. Bordelais is the brother of her defense counsel, and he and his wife Homolka first became acquainted with one another during the trial.

The question remains as to what compelled this man to wed a convicted felon. As of the year 2022, the couple has been together and even has three children to their name together. He truly couldn’t help but fall deeply in love with a lady who was responsible for the murder of her own sister, Tammy Homolka.

Did you know that Homolka was only involved in the killings because her spouse at the time, Paul Bernardo, pressured her to participate? Yes, Thierry’s current wife Karla used to satisfy all of her ex-husband Paul’s bizarre and terrifying desires in the name of “love.” She did this for over four years when they were married.

Because of this, we are going to focus a lot of attention in this essay on the life of Thierry Bordelais as well as his relationship with Karla Homolka. Did Bordelais actually wait for a criminal for a decade before they got married? Where is his wife, Karla, at this time?

His sister, Thierry Bordelais, ended up being his wife. Karla Homolka’s Defense The birth year of Attorney Bordelais falls somewhere in the decade spanning the 1960s and 1970s.

His family is from Africa, although he was born and raised in Canada. There is not a lot of information known about his parents or his upbringing. On the other hand, we are aware that Bodelais had a sister when they were growing up.

Thierry’s sister Sylvie Bordelais is a defense attorney, and she represented his wife Karla Homolka during her trials in the 1990s. This was something that we mentioned earlier in the conversation. She has more than three decades of expertise in the industry and is currently working in the Montreal, Quebec area.

Twelve years passed while Thierry Bordelais awaited the arrival of his future wife, Karla, so that he could marry her.
Thierry first met the woman who would become the love of his life, Karla, while she was on trial for the killings of three innocent girls, as was recounted earlier.

He is Sylvie’s brother, the criminal lawyer who represented Homolka in court, and Sylvie is Homolka’s sister. The two were instantly smitten with one another.

However, The Witch of Ontario, also known as Karla, was eventually sentenced to serve a 12-year prison sentence. Her release did not occur until 2005, the same year that the happy couple tied the wedding and made their relationship public.

After this, a great deal of scrutiny was directed against Thierry’s decision to wed a person with a well-known history of murder. During a brief interaction with La Presse in 2016, Thierry was asked questions concerning his neighbor’s anxiety about living in a neighborhood with a killer. The encounter took place outside of Thierry’s home. He provided a straightforward response to each and every one of the reporter’s inquiries. Bordelais said,

“If they are concerned, the only thing left for them to do is move. Because we are in a free country, we are free. Is there anything that can be said to have occurred throughout the past decade? Therefore, why are they concerned? I can’t see why they are so concerned.”
