Cymone was born to strict parents on November 29, 1998, in North Carolina. Kennedy admitted that, despite having an overbearing mother who insisted on knowing everything Cymone did.

Kennedy was brought up by her parents to be a compassionate and caring person. She discovered that she needed to be selective about who she let into her network, though, after moving to Los Angeles. In her Q&A, Kennedy disclosed:

“I sometimes feel that I can be too compassionate and caring toward individuals. Many people only have their interests in mind and don’t give other people any thought. They only care about themselves, therefore I need to be careful about who I let into my circle and who I care about since some people are only out to take advantage of me.

Despite Kennedy’s best efforts, she has been taken advantage of by dishonest individuals. She claimed that she put her trust in a person who deceived her and withheld information from her.

Kennedy said, “I put my trust in someone I genuinely thought I could trust to help me with my business. “There were a lot of falsehoods, a lot of hidden things, a lot of odd things happening with my money, and in the end, it all comes back to me.”

Is Kennedy Cymone Single? Relationship

After divorcing DDG, Cymone isn’t rushing into a new relationship. Following a brief engagement in April 2018, Kennedy and DDG began dating in 2017. In the summer of 2018, they had a breakup, but they soon reconciled.

The pair announced their permanent separation in November 2019. They said that their choice to break up was a mutual one and that it would be good for their careers. Toxic, a song by DDG that chronicled the difficulties of an earlier relationship, was published in March 2020.

Cymone’s name wasn’t mentioned by DDG, but it is assumed that she was the song’s subject. As a result of the rapper’s shocking admission that his ex-girlfriend had a miscarriage, it was widely believed that Cymone had become pregnant at some point when they were dating.

Cymone has gone past the painful breakup with DDG. She acknowledges that she has dated a few men, but she is not in a hurry to settle down. As Kennedy said:

I’ve been relaxing and taking advantage of being single. Being single allows you more time to enjoy yourself, discover your interests, and have fun. I’ve been going out on dates here and there to see what I like, but right now I’m single and not in a hurry. I’m not under any pressure to find love. Whatever comes, comes. When something occurs, it occurs.
