Kayla Kosuga features vlogs, fashion routines, and cosmetic tips. The YouTube Gold Creator Award was recently given to Kosuga for having more than one million subscribers. Kayla accomplished her astounding milestone despite having a patchy YouTube history in 2020.

Kosuga is also well-known on Instagram, where she frequently shares pictures of her family and lots of modeling shots. Although Kayla calls herself an island girl, she has lived inland ever since her family relocated to Florida from Hawaii when she was 14 years old.

Where was Kayla Kosuga born? Ethnicity, Nationality, Family

In Maui, Hawaii, on March 24, 2001, Aidel and Keola welcomed Kayla Kosuga into the world. She grew up with a younger sister named Tiara and an older brother named Noah. Kayla has ancestry from Hawaii, the Philippines, Japan, Portugal, and Spain.

Because she continued to stay thin after reaching puberty, Kosuga experienced bullying in high school. She didn’t feel self-conscious about her body, but she endured bullying from her classmates and online trolls. Some people have even claimed she has anorexia. In a presumptions video that was published on February 1st, 2019, Kayla said:

“All the other girls had boobs and bottoms, but I was practically flat like a table, and that used to make me feel so insecure about my physique. People would make fun of me, claim that I was anorexic, and do other things. I recall that I used to sob myself to sleep and other things since there was nothing I could do. I am this body. This is how I was made. I was slim by birthright. I eat a lot, but I don’t put on any weight.

Despite the animosity, Kayla finished high school. Although she didn’t feel the need to change her physical appearance, she decided to have cosmetic surgery to change the side profile of her nose because she was self-conscious about it.

Kayla disliked her nose because it was overly bulbous and slightly tilted to the right. Her objective was to change her nose without affecting the Asian features of her face. In a vlog from February 2020, she clarified.

Kayla Kosuga informed her parents that she was pregnant

When Kayla informed her parents that she was pregnant, she was taken aback by how well they responded. When Kayla missed her period, it didn’t occur to her right away that she might be pregnant.

She was used to the fact that her period would come two weeks later than usual. She chose to take a pregnancy test nonetheless since, during the previous month, her body had been exhibiting odd symptoms. The test result came back positive right away.

Kosuga was concerned about her parents’ reaction because they were devout. Her Christian parents held the belief that marriage should come before having children, but that notion was obviously out the window now. Kayla was never the kind to talk to her parents about her matters, so her parents found it odd that she wanted to talk to them about something significant.

When Kayla’s mother immediately assumed Kosuga was pregnant, Kayla became upset. Because she wanted to be the one to break the news, Kosuga became enraged. As Kayla awaited her parents’ reaction to the news, tears streamed freely. In her announcement video, Kayla said she was taken aback by her parents’ encouragement:

“I was expecting my parents to be wild and all that, but they are incredibly supportive,” the author said. What I was going to do was the first thing they questioned me about. Like, For no one is ever prepared to have their first child. I just told them that I need to put on my big girl panties. I’ll need to grow up even more now that I’m expecting a child.

Kayla wasn’t sure what her parents would say, but she was confident that her boyfriend Elijah would be thrilled to hear it. According to Kayla, “Elijah’s family is also incredibly supportive, and baby daddy is very, very supportive.”

Elijah used an Instagram snapshot of the baby’s ultrasound to inform his followers of the good news. “So thrilled to share that we’re starting a new journey together,” he captioned the photo. I appreciate all of your help very much.

Kayla Kosuga and Elijah decided not to live together

There were problems between Kayla and Elijah in the middle of 2020. Although they had been cohabiting for some time, their situation was not ideal. On July 3, 2020, the pair published a video outlining their decision to discontinue cohabitating.

Elijah revealed that he had sustained injuries that had prevented him from working for several weeks. He spent more time at home than usual, which strained his relationship with Kayla.

In addition, Kayla carried a heavy burden because she had to care for her family, Elijah, and her dogs. Kayla and Elijah’s conflict resulted in some brutal fights. We’ve had a lot of fights, Kayla stated. I wouldn’t say over little things, more like major things. Elijah also said,

“When we argue, it gets chaotic. We don’t frequently engage in conflict. We are typically quite laid-back and relaxed, but lately, there have been a few disagreements because of all that has happened, the stress, and the fact that I haven’t been working.

The couple decided that Elijah should vacate the flat to save their union. Living together had been enjoyable, but the couple felt like they had moved in together too soon. The couple decided that they would eventually live together in the same home as they planned to wed, but that they needed to develop their individual lives first.

“We’re taking a break from one another so we can concentrate on ourselves. I want to wed this recluse someday, but first I want him to have his own life and profession. I want him to be successful on his own before we get married.
