Alexandra Barreto’s journey with her spouse can be described as picture-perfect, textbook, or fairytale. The ‘Mayans M.C.’ actress’ career began in the 2000s, and along the way, she met a special man who became her life companion. Here’s their story, from co-stars to life partners.

Alexandra Barreto’s Husband

Rider Strong, an actor, is Alexandra Barreto’s husband. Rider, a 2000s hottie, has been in the business for decades and has been in films and television shows such as ‘Boys Meet World and ‘Cabin Fever.’

Alexandra and her husband met on the set of the television show Pepper Dennis’ in 2006. Things quickly deteriorated between the two, and they found themselves exchanging vows after seven years.

On a beautiful October Sunday afternoon, they married in Oregon. The event was styled as a camp, and there was no shortage of fun for the attendees as they participated in a ropes course, games, and a talent show during the festive weekend, and they even slept in bunks to round out the experience.

A marriage that began with so much joy is bound to have the same in the future, and this is exactly what Alexandra and her husband experienced. But wait till you hear about their wedding day!

Rider was the one who proposed to his girlfriend in 2012. It wasn’t your typical proposal, as you might have predicted from their wedding ceremonies.

Strong proposed to Barreto in the rain in Northern California. He told US Weekly about their special day and remarked. I took her for a walk through the redwoods on my childhood homestead in Northern California.

It was pouring outside, but it didn’t look like it was going to stop soon, so I just went for it. Such a sweet gesture would be difficult to refuse.
Alexandra’s husband even went so far as to create the ring himself!

“I secretly made the ring for weeks.”
I located an old-school jeweler in Echo Park who works out of his basement and asked him to show me how to produce a lost wax casting.
I carved the ring in wax before casting it in white gold.
“I had my father create me a wooden ring box,” Rider explained.

He also mentioned that he learned it from his father. “My father made my mother’s engagement ring, therefore I was following in his footsteps,” he explained.

The pair married in 2013 and have gone from newlyweds to parents in less than a decade. Indigo Barreto Strong is their son.

Alexandra Barreto and her husband kept their pregnancy a secret until they gave birth and astonished everyone. Indigo is their only child, and they have no more children.

The “mom life” may have taken up a large portion of Barreto’s life, but she is still doing what she enjoys on-screen. Her acting career not only helped her meet her spouse but also provided her with fame and money.

Alexandra Barreto’s Career and Net Worth

Alexandra Barreto made her film debut in 2000 with ‘Resurrection Blvd,’ and has since played a number of well-known parts.

Alexandra Barreto earned a substantial sum from her career at the age of 46, increasing her net worth.
