Sofia Toache is a social media influencer and Instagram model most known for being the girlfriend of Edson Alvarez, a defensive player for Ajax and the Mexico national team. She is from Mexico, just like her husband. She attended UNAM.

Alvarez and Toache were already dating at the time he was transferred from Club America to Ajax in 2019. Toache, however, was unable to go with her lover because at the time she was still considered a minor in the Netherlands. They did, however, reunite later. The couple hasn’t wed yet.

Gross Value

Her net worth hasn’t been determined yet. The wealth of her partner Edson Alvarez is currently known. Sources estimate that he has a net worth of around $2 million.

single mother

A single mother, Toache. Her gorgeous child Valentina was born in October 2019 with the assistance of her boyfriend. Only a year after they started dating, they gave birth to their child. Toache was unable to travel to the Netherlands at the time, so she and her daughter stayed in London. Another difficult situation for Alvarez was having to live apart from his family.

He stressed how difficult it is to be so far away from family and conveyed his desire for his wife and newborn to be present at this time. The name of Alvarez’s daughter is written on the inside of his wrist.

Prior to this, Alvarez was wed to YouTuber Aurela Skandaj

Prior to dating Toache, Alvarez was dating popular Belgian YouTuber Aurela Skandaj, whom he met while traveling to the Russian Confederation Cup. Even though Skandaj made the trip to Mexico to see Alvarez, their romance did not last. She deleted all of the pictures of the two of them from her Instagram album.

Alvarez claimed in an interview that Salma Hayek, a Hollywood actress, tried to get him to join the French club Rennais in the summer of 2021.

Hayek, who is also Francois- Henry Pinault’s wife and the owner of Rennais, did everything she could to persuade Alvarez to stick with Ajax, but she was unsuccessful.

Alvarez said that it was difficult to decline Rennes, but in the end, he was unconcerned since he thought he still had plenty to prove at Ajax, where he intended to compete in the Champions League against elite teams.

He was surprised and moved by the actress’s interest when he received the call, but he let her know that Ajax had made the choice. He stated of the actress that he holds her in high regard due to her Hollywood roles in countries all over the world and that she is a role model because she overcame obstacles as a Mexican to get to where she is now.

Alvarez was omitted from the game against Argentina despite playing a big role in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign. After the opening game’s tie with Poland, Mexico’s national team manager, Gerardo Martino, changed his mind. Alvarez’s options were consequently constrained, and he was benched.

Erick Gutierrez, a midfielder, was selected by Gerardo for the crucial match against Argentina. He did not, however, consider using Alvarez in the second half, prompting Mexican fans to believe that he wanted Argentina to win because not letting Alvarez play and taking out Lozano and Vega made it much easier for Argentina to defeat Mexico 2-0.
