Storm Reid and Sayeed Shahidi make an adorable couple. They started dating after meeting at the Disney XD Jungle Ball party in February 2017. They ultimately attended the same high school.

Storm Reid and Her High School Boyfriend

Reid and Shahidi frequently attended prom and other Hollywood parties together throughout their high school years.

In April 2019, they began dating after Shahidi’s sister Yara Shahidi assisted her brother in asking the then-15-year-old A Wrinkle in Time actress to the prom.

“After FaceTime chats with her older sister, conversations with his buddies, and knowing what would make her happy, Sayeed SURPRISE-PROPOSED to Storm with the CUTEST prom proposal,” the actor from Imagine That said on Instagram.

As suggested by his sister, Shahidi commissioned Storm to create a custom poster board featuring sketches and pictures of the two of them.

The billboard stated,

“Storms are rare in Los Angeles; I’m glad I discovered one.”

On November 2019, Reid wore a light-pink feathered minidress to her final high school homecoming dance. Her spouse, clad in a suit of maroon velvet, joined her.

The Suicide Squad actress will complete high school in 2020. She thanked her family, friends, and loved ones for their support throughout the years in a May 17 Instagram post.

Shahidi also revealed on Instagram that he will graduate high school on June 16, 2020. In his message, he congratulated everyone who attained this milestone this year.

Typically, Storm Reid’s Relationship With Her Partner Is a Secret One

Reid and Shahidi’s connection is generally kept private. They rarely express their feelings for one another through lengthy social media posts or captions.

On certain occasions, such as birthdays, people have been observed posting photographs of themselves compromising their privacy.

Shahidi, for instance, shared a series of his and Reid’s photographs and films in a now-deleted July 2021 Instagram post. These were sent to the actress to celebrate her 18th birthday.

It feels like only a few weeks have passed since we met as 13-year-olds, and now you are an 18-year-old adult who has accomplished so much, he said.

He continued by stating that the memories they had created up until that moment will be with him for the rest of his life. He was also excited to see what the universe had in store for them.

Lastly, the actor wrote,

“Happy Birthday Twinny, I love you very much,” expressing that he was inspired by who she was, happy to be in her life, and fortunate to have her in his.

In 2021, Reid and Shahidi also celebrated both Valentine’s Day and Shahidi’s birthdays. On that occasion, they appeared in an episode of Facebook Watch’s Chop It Up and discussed their personal life, families, and careers in an open manner.
