The public’s interest is piqued by the intriguing and exciting trial outcome. Everyone is on the edge of their seats, eager to see how this strange and very unpleasant situation plays out.

Images of the Shad Thyrion Crime Scene

Public access to the crime scene photos from the Head in Bucket Case is not currently possible, and it is unlikely to happen anytime soon. According to the Green Bay Police Department, these photos are crucial pieces of evidence, and their public distribution could influence the jury’s decision. The criminal complaint included details about the crime scene even though it lacked specific images.

According to the complaint, Shad Thyrion’s severed head—which appeared to have been strangled—was discovered in a pail in his mother’s cellar. In plastic shopping bags found in the basement were further severed body parts. There were multiple blades at the “very bloody” and “gruesome” crime scene, including a bread knife and a carving knife.

The crime scene photos would undoubtedly be nasty and unsettling if they were made public. They might display the apparent blood and gore, the victim’s severed head, and other disfigured body parts. The disturbing visuals have the potential to greatly distress viewers as well as the victim’s friends and family.

Their release could serve as a cover for other crimes by criminals. Given these consequences, it is unlikely that the Green Bay Police Department will disclose the crime scene images.

Head in a Bucket

The horrific and terrible Head in Bucket Case was Taylor Schabusiness’s murder of Shad Thyrion in February 2022. Schabusiness, 25, was apprehended after Thyrion’s mother discovered her son’s severed head in a bucket in their basement, along with the rest of the victim’s body found dismembered in the same location.

Schabusiness described the trial’s proceedings as “hard intercourse,” following which she admitted to killing Tyrion. She was charged with first-degree intentional murder, third-degree sexual abuse, and disfiguring a corpse. Throughout the trial, the public and media watched closely as the prosecution and defense engaged in heated arguments.

Shad Thyrion was killed in February 2022 by Taylor Schabusiness in the horrifying and terrible Head in Bucket Case. Schabusiness, 25, was arrested when Thyrion’s mother found her son’s severed head and disfigured body in their cellar. Schabusiness confessed to killing Tyrion during the trial after what she described as a complicated exchange. The public and media observed the trial procedures intently, as the prosecution and defense engaged in ferocious discussions.

Charges Against Taylor Schabusiness

Taylor Schabusiness was charged in the case with several serious felonies, including third-degree sexual assault, first-degree deliberate killing, and body mutilation. The potential penalties connected to each offense demonstrated the gravity of the accusations. The harshest penalty for first-degree intentional killing is a life sentence without the chance of release.

While the maximum sentence for third-degree sexual abuse was ten years, the maximum term for mutilating a body was one year in prison. Schabusiness was found guilty on all counts by the jury after the trial, and the court punished her. Judge Thomas Walsh’s decision to sentence the defendant to life in prison without the possibility of parole is proof of the seriousness of the offenses.

After 40 years, Schabusiness might be eligible for parole. But it is improbable that she will escape the custody of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Rather, she intends to remain there until her demise. Schabusiness was also ordered by the court to stay in the Brown County Jail until the trial. It was strictly banned for her to communicate with the victim’s family.
