Roxanne Evans- Professional Career

Journalism is the creation and dissemination of reports through several channels such as print, television, the internet, and radio. Concepts and role obligations differ from one country to the next. Some journalists work directly for a country’s government, while others work for independent companies. They can also be engaged by the private sector for a specific purpose. With the introduction of smartphones and the internet, the media environment has shifted in recent years, with a greater emphasis on digital news and rapid releases. This has also caused issues with other traditional types of media. However, some people continue to flourish in more traditional industries, such as Roxanne, who has demonstrated this on television.

12 o’clock news

Evans claims to have worked all around the country at top broadcast stations covering big markets, but she doesn’t go into specifics. She has also worked in the field, covering high-profile trials, missing children tales, political campaigns, and big natural catastrophes across the country. This finally led to her beginning her career with News 12, or the News 12 Networks, a set of regional cable news stations owned by Altice USA that provide 24-hour news coverage.

They cover the New York City metropolitan area, with the exclusion of Staten Island, Queens, and Manhattan; Roxanne is a member of the New Jersey coverage team. The channel commenced operations in 1986 and is the country’s first 24-hour regional cable news program. When the firm was still owned by Newsday Media Holdings, it faced backlash when it began charging a subscription fee for customers who lived beyond the viewing area. Altice then purchased the company in 2016.

Recent Efforts News 12 still had a Connecticut and Westchester team at the time but opted to combine the two and disperse them over Long Island and New Jersey. In 2018, a new subsidiary called Altice USA News was established, and a new show called “I24News” debuted. Some of Roxanne’s most memorable stories, she says, are ones that have a direct impact on viewers or consumers. She has examined crooked businesses and their owners, as well as slum lords in the neighborhood. She’s also reported on con artists that prey on the least disadvantaged.

One of her most notable accomplishments in the sector thus far was when one of her reports resulted in the recovery of money from a scam for single moms and the elderly. She also reported on heating issues in the neighborhood, which assisted in restoring heat to a home in the dead of winter. Her findings have also aided in the capture and conviction of other perpetrators. She submits reports on a daily basis and also contributes to the network’s digital presence. Her videos and reports are available on the company’s website as well as on YouTube.

Social Media

She, like many other television stars, is quite active online through social media profiles, particularly on Twitter, where she has over 4,000 followers. Evans primarily tweets about current events in national and local news, but she does not report as frequently as most active internet journalists. She also has an Instagram account with over 1,500 followers, where she posts a lot of personal images, including ones with celebrities and of her attending local events. Roxanne also shares behind-the-scenes images from her job.

She also has a Facebook profile, where she occasionally publishes uncommon or interesting news in the area, as well as recordings of some memorable broadcasts, though she does not update that account frequently, sometimes going months without posting.
