Ricko DeWilde and his long-term partner Rona live quietly in Alaska with their children, though it is unclear whether they are married. Rona enjoys hunting and teaching their children about Native American culture.

Gathering firewood, hunting wild game, and surviving in freezing temperatures may be once-in-a-lifetime experiences for most of us. Ricko DeWilde, a subsistence hunter and outdoorsman, lives this way.

In Life Below Zero, DeWilde, an Athabascan hunter from Alaska, explains his Native American traditions and survival tactics. Viewers have been drawn to Ricko’s gorgeous rifle hunting in the barren landscape.

Ricko is accompanied by Nat Geo crew members and his children on his journey through Alaska. DeWilde, a father of six who spends most of his time outside, adores his children. While his children are visible on Instagram and NAT GEO, his alleged wife is barely referenced.

Ricko has adapted to his new environment and is enjoying every minute of it. On his YouTube channel, he shows hunting skills and highlights the need of respecting animals and the environment. Ricko desires to instill these values in his children, as evidenced by previous Nat Geo broadcasts.

Ricko’s growing family can be seen enjoying his boat adventures and fishing on Instagram. Ricko lives with Simone, Skarlett, Maya, Skyler, and Keenan, and their mother, Rona Vent. He and his five children are only mentioned on Distractify.com, but his Instagram photos suggest he has another daughter named Sarah.

Ricko has a lot of Instagram photos with his kids, but only a handful with his wife, Rona. Rona has been frequent on Ricko’s social media since 2013, and the couple has been together for a long time. Ricko’s Instagram is overflowing with vacation photos. One image depicts bridesmaids and guys. Rona and Ricko have never acknowledged their marital status, despite having six children.

Rona shares Ricko’s love of hunting

Ricko and Rona are raising their children, and even though they live in Fairbanks, Alaska, Ricko enjoys teaching his children Native American traditions.

Rona Vent, Ricko’s long-term partner, appears to adore hunting and enjoys expressing his passion with the rest of the world. On one occasion, Ricko shared a photo of the entire family clutching a dead moose and attributed the capture to Rona’s shooting ability.

Similarly, Ricko mentions his long-time buddy applauding him for keeping up with him in an earlier article, this one dated May of 2013, most likely referring to his penchant for the wild. The subject of whether Ricko and Rona are husband and wife seems immaterial as it is evident that they are blissfully happy together with their children as one magnificent family.
