His encounters with his wife and children frequently inspire Nate Bargatze’s humor. He has shared countless anecdotes about his family during his lectures over the years. Through these broadcasts, Bargatze has disclosed several facts about his personal life, such as how he met his wife.

Nate Bargatze Met His Wife At Applebees

The first meeting between Bargatze and his wife, Laura Bargatze. They were both in their early twenties at the time and worked as servers at the establishment. They were first just friends, but the music from The Little Mermaid brought them together.

On a Nateland podcast episode, Laura shared the story. “We were at Applebee’s with friends when everyone left… After work, it was just mates.

He played music from The Little Mermaid and begged his companions to be quiet by saying, “Shush, shush.” “I’m listening to this music right now,” says the speaker.

Laura viewed Bargatze’s current demeanor as “totally assured” and “amazing.” He has made numerous jokes about the fact that they began dating when he was 21 years old.

Laura has not only been the source of most of his amusing material, but she has also played a crucial role in his career. Despite having met before his career as a comedian took off, she has stayed at his side every step of the way.

According to her LinkedIn page, she currently works at Bargatze Enterprise as a talent manager. She also serves as the executive producer for the podcast Nateland by Bargatze.

Nate Bargatze and their Wife Welcome Daughter

The comedian and his wife were wed on October 13, 2007. While he has not revealed the exact date of their wedding, he did wish her a happy 14th wedding anniversary in 2020. During one of his broadcasts, he even announced a certain date for his wedding.

The comedian asserted that it would be easy to obtain a site for his wedding on Friday the 13th because no one had reserved any hours. Harper Blair Bargatze, the first and only child of the couple, was born in 2012, five years after their wedding.

The fact that she, like he, was born in Tennessee was one of the inspirations for his Netflix comedy show The Tennessee Kid. “I suppose you could call it me. It could be my daughter, then. Most likely, it is both of us.

Tennessee is our home state. Honestly, I only wanted the word ‘Tennessee’ in the title of the program,’ he admitted. In addition to influencing the name of his show and frequently being the subject of his jokes, Harper has appeared in his Instagram images.

She has participated in a lot of promotional films for his gigs and has even introduced him to The Tennessee Kid.
