Dennis Schroder, a basketball player from Germany, is now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. He was born on September 15, 1993, in Braunschweig, Germany.

Schroder played his first five seasons with the German basketball clubs SG Braunschweig and Phantoms Braunschweig before signing with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks in 2013. Before signing a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021, Dennis played for the Boston Celtics and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He is a point guard and shooting guard who averages 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. The 34 points he scored against the Brooklyn Nets in 2018—the highest points he has ever scored in a single game—was one of several spectacular performances he had during his career.

Additionally, Schroder scored 19 points while standing in for another player in the first game of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Golden State Warriors, which was a crucial factor in the Los Angeles Lakers triumph in the 2022–23 NBA season.

Robert Schroder His parents are Axel and Fatou Schroder.

Dennis’ parents are Axel Schroder, the father, and Fatou Schroder, the mother. A caring parent and devoted husband, Axel Schroder encouraged his children to follow their goals. Unfortunately, Dennis’ father Axel passed away in 2009, preventing him from seeing his son’s success as an NBA player.

In response to a question on the demise of his father in 2009, Schroder stated it was a turning point in his life and motivated him to focus on his basketball career. Similarly, Dennis Schroder’s mother, Fatou Schroder, who is of Gambian descent, has had a big influence on her son’s life and basketball career.

Even though not much is known about her personal and professional life, she is renowned for being a loving and supporting mother to Dennis and for having a close connection with him.
Parents of African-German descent, Dennis Schroder was born in Germany. Aminata Schroder and Awa Schroder are his two younger sisters, while Cheyassin Schroder and Bakary Schroder are his two older brothers.

Dennis used to skateboard with his sister Awa before he fell in love with basketball. Since his father is German and his mother is Gambian, Dennis Schroder hails from an odd family.

The sportsman observes Islam by its teachings and ceremonies and believes in God. Schroder is also wed to Ellen Ziolo, with whom he has two children: a boy named Dennis Junior born in February 2019, and a daughter named Imalia Aaliyah born in August 2020.

In December 2022, the couple had their third child, which they shared on social media. The boy’s name hasn’t yet been disclosed, however. In general, the Schroder family members get along well. The family of the professional athlete also had a significant impact on him; he is close with his mother, siblings, wife, and children.
