In fact, Jerry never spoke openly about his wife or marriage, and he gave his personal life the necessary space. Call it his husbandly responsibility or his ability to keep his personal and professional lives separate.

Divorce

As ironic as it may sound, Jerry, who hosts his show The Jerry Springer Show, which focuses on relationship advice and marriage counseling, was unable to save his own love at the time. The couple divorced in 1994, almost 21 years into their marriage, which was surprising given their initial romance.

The former couple also had a daughter from their marriage. Jerry and Micki had their first and only child, Katie Springer, two years after they married.

Katie, for example, was born blind and deaf within a year. Katie is pleased with her parents now that she is an adult. In one of her media interviews, she expressed gratitude for her parents’ unconditional love and stated.

I’ve heard this story that when I was first born and they heard about all these problems, they just said, ‘we’re never going to treat her different, we’re going to make sure she knows she’s not different. Katie will be 45 and married in 2021. She is also said to have a son with her husband. Unfortunately, no information about her husband or son has been released.

Contentious Relationships

The claim comes from one of the show’s ex-producers, who claimed that producing the show was only a small part of their job and that they were mostly hired to find girls for Jerry to sleep with. In the words of the producer:

Jerry Springer has no moral compass. In the late 1990s, producing his show was only a small part of our job. “Our true mission was to find pretty girls, strippers, and porn stars for Jerry to sleep with.”Aside from that, the majority of the guests were imposters. The people behind the show were aware of it — and didn’t care.
