Matilda Vettel is well-known for being the daughter of a celebrity. Sophie is the second child of Sebastian Vettel, a German race car driver.

2022 Matilda Vettel’s Net Worth

Being the daughter of one of the highest-paid Formula 1 driver, Matilda now savors the luxurious lifestyle provided by her parents. In November 2022, her father’s net income is $140 million.

Father, Sebastian Vettel

Born on July 3, 1987, Sebastian began racing karts at the age of eight. After driving for Toro Rosso as a Red Bull Young driver on a part-time basis, he became a full-time driver.

After winning many titles after being selected for the Red Bull Junior team in 1998, he was elevated from open-wheel vehicles to test driver for BMW Sauber.

With his promotion to Red Bull in 2009, he won four World Driver Championships between 2010 and 2013, becoming the youngest champion in history. He signed a three-year contract with Ferrari to race for Aston Martin in Formula One in 2015.

His long-term partner was wed

Sebastian is happily married to his longtime partner, Hanna Prater. Both parties were pupils at Heppenheim Middle School when they first met.

The couple dated for many years prior to their 2019 wedding. When Vettel was racing for Ferrari in Switzerland and Prater was studying in Germany, they enjoyed a long-distance relationship.

A wedding ceremony is conducted in private

In contrast to other celebrities, Sebastian was able to conceal his wedding until they were spotted wearing wedding bands in Canada. In 2010, Sebastian purchased a home in Switzerland for himself and Prater and they began living together.

Hanna Prater is her husband

Despite being the wife of the fastest racer in the world, Prater likes to avoid the spotlight. After entering the fashion industry, Hanna attended the Baden-Württemberg Fashion School.

After graduating from fashion school, she began working for a number of the industry’s most prominent firms. She took a leave of absence after becoming a mother, but prior to that, she styled for Look magazine and afterward worked as a fashion stylist for the s. Oliver’s design business.

Connection between her parents

As they have been together for over a decade, her parents enjoy a stable relationship. Some may assume that Hanna’s absence at most of Sebastian’s races suggests that their relationship is strained, but the truth is that Hanna considers the racing tracks to be her husband’s place of employment and does not wish to disturb him.

Sebastian is a traditional family man who prefers to be known as a father and husband as opposed to a Formula One driver. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children and is quite protective of them. The majority of the time, he keeps them out of the spotlight.

She has an older sister and a younger brother

Maltida is the second child of Sebastian and Hanna, her parents. Emilie Vettel, her older sister, was born on January 12, 2014, and her younger brother was born in 2019. The joyful family of five resides in a medieval-style Swiss home.

Her uncle is also a race car driver

Her uncle Fabian is an equally well-known race car racer as Sebastian’s younger brother. Now, he is competing in the ADAC GT Masters, a grand tourer-based racing series.

Matilda drove a GT3 sports vehicle for the first time in 2019 despite having no karting experience. He hopes to continue running the Mercedes-AMG GT3 using the acquired expertise.
