She first encountered her ex-husband in 1978 at the Westwood Bruin Theatre, where they instantly clicked. Bobby was five years younger than them, but that didn’t stop them from falling in love, and they soon started courting.

On their first date, the smitten couple took a flying lesson together, which was romantic. Soon after, they took their romance a step further and started living together. They had Katy as their first child in 1983.

They got married after having their first child, and in 1985 James Tur joined the family. Up until a shift in circumstances caused them to separate in 2003, the couple was living a happy life. The cause of the divorce was never made public, but everything became clear when Bobby came out as a transgender man.

He changed his identity to Zoey Tur and proclaimed his desire to be a woman. In the news and entertainment sectors, Zoey is now well-known.

After quitting her job as a writer and photographer, Marika is doing well in her life. Her offspring have grown up and have flourishing jobs. Her son James works in the medical industry, and her daughter Katy writes and broadcasts for NBC News.
