Lyla Aranya Wilson is the daughter of Owen Wilson and his ex-girlfriend Varunie Vongsvirates from the film Wedding Crashers. Wilson is the father of three children, two sons and Lyla, the actor. During interviews, the actor has acknowledged his sons but never his daughter, Lyla. Lyla is about to be four, but the Zoolander actor has yet to meet her.

Furthermore, everytime Lyla is mentioned, there is a bit of drama. Many people believe Owen is a bad father because he plainly ignores his daughter. Her mother has also criticized Lyla’s actor father for not being present in her life. Although Wilson has taken on the mantle of a father figure in recent years through his film performances, many have questioned him about his fatherhood given his real-life predicament.

Despite this, Lyla is not subject to the privacy restrictions that other celebrities impose on their children. People are familiar with her thanks to her mother’s Instagram account. Learn more about her, including why her celebrity father refuses to see her and her actor father’s dating history.

Lyla Aranya is from an acting family.

Lyla Aranya Wilson, who was born on October 9, 2018, hails from an acting family. Lyla has two uncles (Wilson’s brothers) who have also had several roles in cinema and television, in addition to her father, Owen. Luke, Lyla’s uncle, is an actor who has appeared in films such as Rushmore, My Dog Skip, Legally Blonde, and The Royal Tenenbaums, among others. He has also appeared in shows such as That 70s Show, Enlightened, and Stargirl.

Andrew Wilson, Lyla’s other uncle, is also an actor. Fever Pitch, Idiocracy, Church Ball, Whip It, Druid, and Time Trap are among his films.

When it comes to her mother, Varunie, there isn’t much to say except that, unlike Owen and her brothers, she isn’t an actress. Although nothing is known about her job, she is a business development representative who graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Arts. Varunie also has a Thai father and a brother who lives in Thailand. She has a sister as well.

Aranya, Lyla Owen Wilson and Varunie Vongsvirates Wilson Parents; Wilson Denied Lyla’s Paternity

Wilson and Varunie, Lyla’s parents, dated from 2013 to 2018. They had been dating for five years, with various breakups in the middle. Varunie and her daughter’s father divorced in 2018, but the ex-couple has since become embroiled in a custody battle over their child.

Around the time of their final divorce, the ex-partners fell pregnant. Varunie found out she was pregnant with Wilson’s child four weeks before her due date. When Vongsvirates informed Wilson that she was pregnant, the Texas-born actor denied being the father and even changed his phone number. Owen also failed to pay for Varunie’s medical costs, diapers, baby clothes, bottles, crib, and other necessities.

Vongsvirate tried to call Wilson numerous times after Lyla was born, pleading with him to come meet his baby. Wilson then took a paternity test in June 2018. The results later revealed that the Wedding Crashers actor was Lyla’s biological father.

Varunie has also taken to Instagram to criticize Wilson. Vongsvirates stated on Instagram that although Owen was in the film Father Figures, he couldn’t be a real father. Varunie told the Daily Mail in 2019 that “Owen has never met Lyla.” Never.” She stated at the time that the Dallas-born actor assists them financially, but that it was never an issue. During an interview with the Daily Mail, Vongsvirates begged Wilson to visit his daughter and praised her. During the same interview, Varunie added,

“Lyla requires a father figure. It’s odd that [Owen] keeps receiving father parts; in his current film, he plays a father who has never met his own daughter.”

According to sources, Wilson clicked a box indicating that he did not want Lyla to have visitation rights. Wilson, on the other hand, as previously said, pays a large sum of money in child support for Lyla. This was after a DNA test revealed Lyla was indeed his daughter. The Loki star has been ordered by the court to pay $25,000 a month in child support. In addition, the actor was required to pay $70,000 as a one-time payment to cover Varunie’s labor expenses.

Lyla is the half-sister of two brothers.

Lyla is the only child of Varunie and Wilson, although she has two older half-brothers, Robert Ford and Finn Lindqvist Wilson, through her actor father. Owen had Robert with his ex-girlfriend Jade Duell on January 14, 2011. The Internship actor welcomed Finn Wilson alongside his other ex-girlfriend, former fitness trainer Caroline Lindqvist. Wilson appears to be a wonderful parent to his sons.

Despite no longer being in a relationship with his sons’ moms, Owen is said to have an excellent relationship with each of them. Meanwhile, Wilson had romances with celebrities such as Gina Gershon, Demi Moore, and Kate Hudson. He was also the lover of Sheryl Crowe, a singer.

In the meantime, Lyla has a cousin brother named Joseph Obiamiwe Wilson.

Why did Owen Wilson refuse to see Lyla, his daughter?

Owen hasn’t stated publicly why he isn’t willing to be a part of his daughter’s life just yet. However, others speculate that when he was dating Vongsvirate, the actor didn’t want any more children than his two boys. Many people on the internet assume that the now 54-year-old actor informed Varunie that he didn’t want children, but she refused.

Some speculate that their breakup was caused by their disagreement over whether or not to have children. Many people believe Varunie may have gotten pregnant on intentionally, which upset Owen, perhaps ending their relationship and preventing Wilson from seeing his daughter, Lyla. On the other side, ever since the court filings revealed Owen’s lack of interest in visiting his daughter, folks have been criticizing him left and right.

Wilson’s daughter Lyla has been making appearances on her mother Varunie’s Instagram since the beginning. In fact, Lyla made her debut on her mother’s active Ig even before she was born.

A few months before the birth of her kid, Varunie shared an ultrasound shot of her pregnancy with the statement,

Say hello to Lyla, only 3 months away!

Varunie’s Instagram has been dominated by her daughter Lyla since her birth. Lyla appears to be maturing with each of her mother’s social media posts.
