Shannon Sullivan and Lucas Jade Zumann have been in a committed relationship since they met. Lucas Jade Zumann is best known for his role as Gilbert Blythe in the Netflix series Anne with an E.

The actor frequently posts pictures of his lover on social media, and he even helps her write songs in the toilet while playing guitar while they are together.

The young actor and his fiancée have made countless appearances on her YouTube channel. Zumann has primarily been spotted playing the guitar while his companion has been singing beautiful melodies in both Spanish and English.

The pair have worked together on several tunes that have gotten a lot of praise. The Way Time Works, Won’t Let Me In, Cada Cancion, and other of their songs are among their most well-known.

Although the pair occasionally perform in their living room, it seems that they prefer using their restroom to record music. Due to the fact that the two record the tracks while sitting in the bathtub, Sullivan even calls it “Bathtub Covers.”

The Sinister 2 actor and his partner frequently post footage taken in bathrooms on her own YouTube account. Cancion II, the pair’s second original song, was recorded and just uploaded in December 2020.

Zumann wanted to turn the bathroom into a “crematorium,” much like the one in the TV show Community, as Sullivan explained in the video, so it would appear unusual.

The bathroom’s backdrop was made up of black and blue boxes to give it an “atrium” appearance. In that video, Sullivan was singing with her characteristically wonderful voice, and the actor, who enjoys playing the guitar, was seen providing accompaniment.

After the song was through, the pair high-fived and Zumann even praised her voice. He responded, “That was a nice one,” and we wholeheartedly concur.

The Netflix celebrity has made multiple appearances on Sullivan’s YouTube channel. In a video from September 2018, Sullivan admitted that she had visited her boyfriend on the Anne with an E setting. She waited for him outside because she couldn’t go inside the building while they were filming.

Additionally, the pair talked about how it makes Sullivan uncomfortable when people compare their actual relationship to Zumann’s fictional one with Amybeth McNulty in one of her December 2019 vehicle vlog videos.

She added that viewers would make postings and videos to vote on the ship names for the couple, Sherbet (the show’s Gilbert and Shirley’s ship name), and Shucas (the ship name of Lucas and Shannon).

Sullivan also disclosed that she has been questioned by fans who want to know if she is envious of the on-screen couple. She disputed it, saying that she had a crush on Gilbert and had grown up reading the book that served as the series’ inspiration.

The 20-year-old actor routinely uploads pictures of himself with his fiancée to his Instagram account in addition to acting in her movies.

Since then, the couple has shared numerous photographs on social media, giving followers significant couple goals. Zumann shared a selfie with his wife in October 2019 and wrote that creating their home together was one of his favorite memories.
