The parents of actress Lauren London come from diverse ethnic origins. Her bi-racial background caused her difficulties in her early years.

American actress Lauren London is most known for her parts in movies like You People, This Christmas, Baggage Claim, and ATL, to name a few.

She appeared in music videos for artists such as Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Tyrese, and Ludacris.

London’s breakthrough performance came in the 2006 episode of Everybody Hates Chris, “Everybody Hates Funerals,” when she made her acting debut.

In 2022, the actress and PUMA collaborated on the L.A. Love Story initiative.

The clothes and shoe styles are inspired by her home city of Los Angeles.

Lauren London’s parents are Iesha London and Arthur Hardy

Lesha London is Lauren London’s mother, while Arthur Hardy is her father. Their backgrounds are diverse in terms of ethnicity.

Her father is Ashkenazi Jewish, while her mother is African-American.

Arthur is a well-known actor and comedian who has acted in several films and TV shows.

Lesha London, on the other hand, was employed in the IT industry as a computer programmer.

Lauren London was raised by her mother, who taught her important life skills, after the divorce of her parents when Lauren was just three years old.

Her mother raised her in a stable and supportive home in spite of the difficulties.

The actress said that her mother’s influence on their home was the main factor that impacted her childhood in an interview with the People Everyday podcast.

Interestingly, her father did not reside in their home throughout her childhood.

Lauren London Is Not of the Same Ethnicity

She is a multi-ethnic woman who has influences from many different cultures.

Lauren said in an interview with Under My Skin that she was teased by her relatives because of her unusual ancestry, who felt she wasn’t black enough.

This incident serves as a reminder of the complexity of identification and the difficulties people may have in discovering their cultural heritage.

The actress said that she struggled with her bi-racial identity for a long time, and although she doesn’t take pride in it, it was a necessary step in her path.

Furthermore, Lauren took comfort in the backing of her hero, Barbra Streisand, who was instrumental in helping her to fully embrace her bi-racial identity.

However, Lauren disregarded her Jewish heritage once her parents divorced, choosing instead to concentrate on the difficulties within the family.

She lost a link to her Jewish identity and a significant portion of her cultural background as a result of her dad’s absence.

Lauren London has two children

She is well-known for her high-profile associations with rapper Lil Wayne in addition to her work as a filmmaker.

She later dated the late Nipsey Hussle, who was shot and murdered in 2019 in front of his clothing shop in Los Angeles.

Her relationship with Nipsey Hussle produced a 6-year-old kid named Kross, and she had a son named Kameron with Lil Wayne.

Lauren, who makes a great effort to keep her family secret, hardly ever uploads pictures of her children online.

But when she does, it’s with emotions of love for her kids and her journey as a mother.

The eldest son of Lauren Carter, who was still dating Lil Wayne, was born on September 9, 2009.

When Lauren was fifteen years old, the ex-couple had their first romantic connection. Over the years, their relationship saw many highs and lows, including an engagement and a split.

Lauren had nothing but positive things to say about Lil Wayne and finally came to the conclusion that they would get along better as friends.

Afterwards, on August 31, 2016, Kross Ermias Asghedom was born to Lauren. At the time, she was in a relationship with rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Unfortunately, on March 31, 2019, Hussle was murdered.

In an effort to foster an honest and reliable relationship with her boys, Lauren freely shares her feelings with them as she continues to cope with the loss.
