Since the early 1980s, Laila Robins has had a prosperous career as an actor. After theatre school, she immediately made the transition to Hollywood and the theater.

The majority of her links and connections come from her experience in the theatre industry because she has spent most of her life there. And her love life is no different. The actress started dating Robert Cuccioli in the early 2000s, and they have been together ever since, both on and off the stage.

Relationship between Laila Robins and Robert Cuccioli

Around the turn of the century, Robins and Cuccioli first connected during a fundraising event. They first connected at a fundraiser for the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in 2000.

They each gave a song performance there. In a 2015 interview with the Cape Cod Times, she said, “He did ‘This is the Moment’ from ‘Jekyll and Hyde,’ and I sang ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

They immediately clicked, and soon after that, they started dating. They co-starred in Antony and Cleopatra two years later; he portrayed Antony and she played Cleopatra, the Egyptian queen, and his love interest.

One of their most acclaimed and well-remembered performances was their concert at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis in 2002. Although she had previously performed a few plays by William Shakespeare, this was Cuccioli’s first Shakespearean drama.

A year later, they collaborated to stage Macbeth at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Since then, they have worked together numerous times.

The couple committed early on in their relationship to separate their personal and professional lives. They didn’t carry the script home with them or their relationship to work, not even while they were co-writing their first stage play.

The couple is wed, according to several publications, including IMDb. However, there isn’t much solid proof to back up this claim. In 2015, they shared a Manhattan apartment. At the end of September 2022, they will have been married for almost 22 years.

Do Laila Robins and Robert Cuccioli have kids together?

Despite spending so much time together, appearing in the media frequently, and conducting numerous interviews, neither Robins nor Cuccioli have ever discussed having children. Nothing on the internet suggests they are parents.

Even though the pair is very active on Facebook, their social media profiles are also devoid of any evidence that they are parents. Both are frequent business travelers who are associated performers with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. They go around Europe in addition to the United States.
