Kit Bernard Foster is a well-known celebrity child who rose to prominence shortly after his birth as a result of his mother’s fame. His adoring mother is none other than Jodie Foster, a two-time Academy Award winner. Jodie has received numerous important awards for her appearances in a number of blockbuster films and television shows.

Despite her enormous celebrity, Jodie maintains her personal life, particularly her romances, confidential, which is why Kit’s father’s identity remains unknown. Foster was reportedly dating film producer Cydney Bernard at the time of Kit’s birth. Their children are now shared equally between them.

So, let us try to figure it out here. Also, learn about Jodie Foster’s younger son’s age, college, and other interesting details!

Kit Bernard Foster is said to have been conceived by artificial insemination.

Although Jodie never discussed how she produced her youngest son, Kit, numerous reports claimed she underwent artificial insemination. Kit was born on September 29, 2001, in a hospital in Los Angeles. At birth, he weighed 6lbs 3oz.

Foster first shared her pregnancy news to columnist Liz Smith in April 2001. The two-time Oscar winner stated in the interview,

“My three sisters and I are all Scorpios, so we have a soft spot for the birth date.”

Jodie went on to say,

“I loved being pregnant with Charlie and can’t wait to do it again.” I’m into all of the health foods, yoga, and so on.”

Jodie was due in November, but she arrived a month sooner. Pat Kingsley, her publicist, verified the story, saying,

“There was no reason to be concerned-everything was normal.” Both [the foster child and the child] are at home and doing well.”

Who is the father of Jodie Foster’s son Kit Bernard Foster?

Foster has only had one question since being a single mother of two children: who is her son’s father? The actress was in a long-term relationship with her partner Cydney Bernard at the time of the births of her two children. However, neither Jodie nor her ex-bae Cydney ever revealed the father of the babies.

When New York Post gossip reporter Liz Smith questioned Jodie if “her donor” was the same man as her first child, Charles, in April 2003, the notoriously reclusive entertainer replied,

“I’m not going to answer that.”

Meanwhile, Foster revealed her plans to raise her children as a single mother. She stated to Smith,

“Exactly how I was raised.”

Furthermore, the late Hollywood producer Randy Stone was rumored to be the boys’ biological father years ago. However, it was later shown to be a fraud. As a result, the true identity of Jodie’s son’s biological father remains a mystery.

He grew Up With His Elder Brother.

Charles Bernard Foster, Kit Foster’s brother, was born on July 20, 1998, in Los Angeles. At Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, he was conceived through artificial insemination. In 2021, he will graduate from Yale University. The Foster brothers have kept the majority of their identities hidden behind closed doors. They make public appearances on occasion.

They attended the 2016 AMD British Academy Britannia Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills with their mum in October 2016.

Jodie, Kit Bernard Foster’s mother, has joint custody of Kit and his brother.

Foster, as previously stated, has joint custody of her two children with her former lover Cydney Bernard. The Silence of the Lambs star, who came out as gay at the 2013 Golden Globes ceremony, was in a long-term relationship with Bernard before their divorce in 2008. The ex-lovers initially met on the set of Sommersby (1993).

Foster and her boyfriend Bernard began dating the same year. They had been in a relationship for almost 15 years before splitting up in 2008.

The Academy Award-winning actress is currently married to Alexandra Hedison. A year after they started dating, the couple married in April 2014.

Foster’s life partner Hedison is an American photographer and actor who was born in Los Angeles, California.
