Cody Arnold was arrested as a consequence, while Chelsea Ann-Marie Shipp was sought as a suspect. Stone is Cody Arnold’s live-in girlfriend, according to Sain of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Cody Arnold was arrested right away.

Shipp and Brandy Moon have been in contact since they worked together at the Latitude Adjustments cleaning company in Crystal Beach, Texas, cleaning vacation properties. Arnold, according to Moon, sought a visit to his Winnie, Texas, home on Friday night.

Shipp and Arnold stayed with Stone alone for five to fifteen minutes. Shipp referred to Stone as Arnold’s girlfriend, according to Moon. Moon revealed that she found out Shipp and Arnold were dating through a common source. Cody Arnold admitted to the police that he had a connection with Stone after being jailed.

Obituary for Katelynn Nicole Stone

Because the case is still under investigation, little information about the victim has been released. As a result, Katelynn Nicole Stone’s Obituary could not be located on the Internet. “All I can say is that it’s a cold world for such a lovely soul to be snatched,” commented Mandi Michelle, claiming to be Katelynn Stone’s mother.

What went wrong for these people to be so brutal in snatching my baby? She composed herself. Is the world so cruel to them that they feel it is OK to take a life for such sad reasons? Mandi Michelle took to Facebook again after Shipp’s arrest to condemn the perpetrators’ “brutal, vile heartlessness.”

Unfortunately, there was no Katelynn Nicole Stone Obituary since her family has been sensitive about the subject since then.

Who was responsible for her death? Update on the Murder Case

New details are emerging about the Texas couple accused of murdering an adolescent who may have been pregnant. Shipp was apprehended on Thursday after the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office issued public pleas, concerned that he was still armed and dangerous.

Stone was discovered dead at Cody Arnold’s Beaumont home after a friend of Chelsea Shipp, Brandy Moon, notified officials that Shipp had admitted to the crime. Stone’s corpse was discovered in a carpeted bedroom of Arnold’s mobile home after the detectives were granted access to Arnold’s property.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Det. Brian K. Sain, the bottom half of the corpse was wrapped in a blanket, the top half in a black trash bag, and a shell casing was visible on a pillow. Cody suspected Stone, who was just 16 years old, was pregnant. Chelsea had warned Cody Arnold that if he got her pregnant, he would face the consequences.

Shipp contacted Moon on Saturday and asked for permission to exchange her white Dodge vehicle for Moon’s 2014 blue Nissan Maxima because she “had some business to take care of.” When Shipp returned the car on Sunday morning, she appeared agitated and reportedly asked Moon to lie about where she had gone.

Remember to “If anyone questions you,” Shipp said to Moon, “I was with you in Baytown, and Cody had your car.”

Shipp first requested Moon to board her truck before alerting her that she had Stone under control. Shipp allegedly answered, “I shot her,” in response to Moon’s inquiry as to what she meant. According to the affidavit, Chelsea “made a shooting motion with two fingers as if she were shooting a gun and moved her thumb two times downward like she was firing a gun.”

After being charged with murder, both Shipp and Arnold are being detained at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on a $1 million bail. The jail records do not show if either defendant has pled guilty or when they will appear in court.
