Is Josie Totah A Girl Or A Boy?
Josie Totah is a girl. She claimed that her pronouns were she, her, and hers. Moreover, she identifies herself as not just a female, but specifically a transgender female.
Her true identity is a transgender female and she has never been more comfortable about herself. Fearing rejection she denied herself her true identity but now she feels free.
Josie Totah Before Surgery
Before her surgery, Josie was often cast for the role of a gay character. Although she loved acting she felt that she was pushed into a box “J.J Totah, a gay boy”.
She was often interviewed by people asking her what she felt as a young gay man which was not her true identity. Fear of disapproval, made her hid her true identity as LGBTQ then, nothing specific.
Josie Totah’s parents however claim to have known their child’s true identity while she was still three. They waited for Josie to come to an acceptance with who she truly was and supported her transition fully.
