After Jeremy Elbertson gave his viewers control over when to slam the brakes while driving, he was taken into custody on suspicion of killing six people.

Jeremy Elbertson, better known online as Jerma985, was jailed by the Boston Police Department after he murdered six people during an odd, avant-garde stream in which he let chat users determine whether or not his automobile could stop.

Jerma985 is most likely one of the Twitch success stories. Prior to transitioning to live streaming, Jerma increased his YouTube following dramatically.

He was a pioneer in the field of absurdist humor, which he continues to develop in his broadcasts. You can learn everything there is to know about Jerma right here.

What Did He Do in the Murder of Jeremy Elbertson?

According to the Boston Police Department, one of their targets was the infamous Twitch inventor.

Rather than playing Breath of the Wild, Jerma said he would try his luck by flying down the interstate at 90 mph. He began at the top of the stream, introducing himself to everyone and saying hello.

He went on to suggest that spectators could cast their votes after pausing.

He further disclosed that any donations would make him go faster and any Prime memberships would make him briefly detour into oncoming traffic.

If he survives, he’ll probably simply use Gang Beasts or something to finish the stream.

Jeremy Elbertson: Is he in custody? How Did the YouTuber Act?

Jeremy Elbertson was detained by the Boston Police Department after he killed six people.

David Pryce, a spokesman for the BPD, claims that they stopped Mr. Elbertson’s car last night and then detained him close to Fifth and Turner.

A sufficient number of cops had subscribed to and voted for Jerma to stop his automobile and submit himself in to the Police, he said, adding that they could follow Jerma’s location in real-time owing to his Livestream.

Legal experts indicated they did not like Jerma’s chances of getting released at the time of publication after fellow broadcaster STAR was selected by Twitch chat to act as his legal advisor.

Response from a Twitch moderator to Jeremy Elbertson’s stream

Twitch moderator Kevin Foxx thought it was nice to see a streamer show such a keen interest in engaging with his conversation in that way.

He claimed that most individuals could hardly even reply to chat queries, much less allow the dialogue to take on the role of God, thus it was a welcome change of pace.

Jerma’s production value was excellent as always. He bought a huge SUV particularly for this stream to ensure that any impacted pedestrians didn’t survive if the chat didn’t want them to. He is really focused and concentrated while streaming.

When someone died, he would simply look at the road in front of him, waiting for the next conversation order without pausing to think about the consequences.

What Made Jeremy Elbertson So Well-Known?

Although Jerma985 currently gets the most attention for his Twitch appearances, he first rose to prominence online as a Team Fortress 2 content creator.

On his original YouTube channel, Jerma has recorded numerous videos of himself or other content creators playing Valve’s class-based shooter.

His most recent YouTube video on his primary channel was published in August 2017. He still updates his alternate channel, 2ndJerma, frequently.

After going to Twitch, Jerma, who was already pretty well-known, gained enormous popularity.

Since Jerma started regularly streaming on Twitch in November 2018, he has grown to be one of the platform’s most popular channels. In 2022, Jerma had over 14,000 viewers per episode and more than 3 million viewing hours.
