Janie Liszewski met her husband Eddie Van Halen where?

In 2006, Liszewski met her current partner, Louie, during a charity event. The second wife of a Dutch-born musician was working in public relations for a film production business, and Halen happened to be producing the soundtrack for one of their flicks.

Van Halen proposed to Janie two years later in Hawaii during the summer of 2008. In June 2009, a wedding took place a year later.

According to People, Janie and Halen served little hamburgers, corn dogs, ring pops, custom printed M&M’s, and a nonalcoholic lemonade bar to their guests.

After 25 years of marriage, they divorced in 2006. Janie’s late husband, Bertinelli, had a kid with her, Wolfgang Van Halen. Van Halen’s first marriage to Bertinelli ended in divorce due in part to Van Halen’s drug and alcohol addiction.

Janie Liszewski’s husband passed away from cancer.

Eddie Van Halen, her husband of more than ten years, died of throat cancer on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Following her husband’s passing in October, the Van Halen frontman’s wife posted a lengthy and heartbreaking Instagram message that said,

“My heart and soul have been broken into a million pieces.” I had no idea it was possible to cry so many tears or experience such intense anguish… Saying goodbye is the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do, so instead I say farewell, I’ll see you soon in a world without pain or grief.”

Doctors discovered Lewziski’s husband’s mouth cancer in 2000, and the guitarist had tongue surgery. Later, the Dreams singer was diagnosed with lung cancer and was having radiation treatment in Germany.

Eddie was involved in a motorcycle accident in early 2019. He also battled a brain tumor and underwent gamma knife radiosurgery to treat the ailment.

His wife, Janie, was by his side at the moment of his death, as were his son, Wolfgang, his ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli, and Alex, Eddie’s brother and drummer.

Janie’s mother and brother died the same year her husband died.

Halen was not Janie’s first or final loved one to pass away in 2020. Janie had heartbreaking occurrences during 2020, despite her excellent profession.

It all started on June 17, 2020, when she lost her brother Tom. In October 2020, four months after this horrific tragedy, her husband, famed guitarist Eddie Van Halen, died.

Janie’s sadness was compounded when her mother died on November 23, 2020, just two months after Eddie died.

Liszewski, too, had cancer.

Liszewski’s late husband was not the only one who had to deal with cancer scares and treatments. She, in reality, has spent years in and out of the doctor’s office.

In 2019, the ballroom dancer said on Instagram that physicians had been monitoring suspicious nodules in her thyroid for years since they could lead to cancer.

“I was finally cleared and told that they haven’t grown/changed and aren’t cancerous.” “I am overjoyed and grateful.”

The ex-stuntwoman spoke of her cancer fight. However, after some time, the physicians gave her the all-clear because the nodules were found to be non-cancerous.

Liszewski experienced another scare two years later, this time about her breasts. She, too, survived, although it took her two attempts to get through the biopsy.

She wrote about it in her journal:

“I had a severe anxiety attack.” “There was a flood of emotions and a lot of pain when the needle was inserted and I passed out.”

A week later, Liszewski revealed on Instagram that the lumps in her breasts were harmless. Despite the fact that her experiences were extremely draining for her, Liszewski now uses her tale to inspire others.

Janie has occasionally discussed cancer and related prevention strategies since her cancer battle. She frequently sends messages to people on her social media to remind them to remain on top of their health and to follow up on monitoring, testing, or appointments.

What Is Janie Liszewski’s Net Worth? Did Janie Liszewski inherit Eddie Van Halen’s fortune?

Janie’s late husband was obviously a multi-millionaire. He amassed his $100 million net worth primarily from his music career, which he began in the 1970s. With 10 studio albums and 56 million units sold, Liszewski’s husband’s band was one of the best-selling in the United States.

In later years, Halen introduced his own guitar line, EVH, as another source of income. Not to mention that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame owned some real estate. His clothing company added to his fortune.

While it has been stated that Halen did leave a will at the time of his death, the specifics of the terms and circumstances have yet to be made public.

What people or online sites have widely discussed is how his family members each received a million-dollar property. His wife Janie, brother Alex, son Wolfgang, and reportedly some of his ex-wife Valerie are among the principal beneficiaries.

In any event, the figures that Liszewski inherited remain a source of debate and conjecture. What can be fairly inferred is that Janie must be in good financial standing, given to her husband’s nine-figure net worth.
