When Janice Dyson first met her husband, John McAfee, she was a prostitute.

Janice met McAfee in 2012 while working as a prostitute in South Beach, Florida. She had been employed for sex by the software engineer. According to Newsweek, he was fleeing Belize after becoming a top suspect in his neighbor’s murder.

Despite having a 38-year age difference, Janice and McAfee married in 2013. They were husband and wife for eight years, till the former died in 2021.

The couple disclosed in 2017 that the late McAfee creator protected his future wife from a vicious pimp.

Janice’s motives for marrying John were not pure.

Interestingly, it was discovered later after they began dating that Janice Dyson had formed the connection with McAfee in order to spy on him for cartel leaders for whom she worked. They had, in fact, given her orders to use medications and poison.

As a result, she would provide information about his movements to gangsters looking to abduct him. She was working for her ex-colleague, Delmariea Kamani Crutchfield, alias “Suave.” The original plan was for kidnapping and robbing him.

According to other sources, Dyson’s pimp bullied her into drugging McAfee’s food and even forced her to leave the couple’s Lexington, Kentucky, house unsecured.

Dyson, on the other hand, developed genuine affections for John, and while she prepared to trap him, she also gave signals about her every move in order for him to survive. McAfee’s anxiety and sufficient security also contributed significantly to his survival.

He later discovered that his wife was eavesdropping on him. He, on the other hand, took no action because he recognized her predicament.

Throughout their relationship, John shielded her from persons who forced her to perform prostitution.

Dyson stood by her husband when the cops arrested him.

Janice also lived in luxury for years while living with McAfee, thanks to the programmer’s multimillion-dollar fortune.

Though, as previously stated, he had lost the majority of them during the financial toll he faced while still living. As a result, he made news in August 2009 when he lost $96 million of his $100 million net worth.

She Would Have Been the United States’ First Lady
