Jake Funk’s net worth may increase with his potential roster involvement as the Ravens’ latest signee, after on-off games and time on practice teams.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, the Colts, Dolphins, and Saints frequently signed Funk to practice squads, but he saw limited play. In December 2023, the Baltimore Ravens signed him to a practice squad at a base salary of around $200,000. With rookie running back Keaton Mitchell missing due to injury, the team may employ Funk in the game as an option.

Jake Funk, an NFL running back, graduated from the University of Maryland (2016-20). In the 2021 NFL Draft, he was selected in the seventh round by the LA Rams. Funk joined Tutu Atwell, Ernest Jones, Bobby Brown III, and Robert Rochell as Rams draft picks, signing a four-year contract.

He spent a season under head coach Sean McVay before being dismissed by the Rams in the second year of his contract. Funk remained on the practice squads for the New Orleans Saints, Indianapolis Colts, and Miami Dolphins. However, none offered him with much playtime.

Jake Funk’s net worth is estimated to be $300,000 by 2024. Funk’s two NFL seasons (2021-22) may not have been his best, but he earned a lot of money. Despite only a few game appearances, his NFL contracts and salary have resulted in a lifetime earnings record of $1.26 million.

On May 26, 2021, he signed his first professional contract with the Los Angeles Rams for four years and $3.58 million. It included a $108,228 signing bonus. With the Rams, he won Super Bowl LVI, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20. Despite his dismal performance, the club dismissed him on October 11, 2022, during the second year of his four-year contract.

As a result, he received only $874K from his initial transaction. The New Orleans Saints then signed him to their practice squad (October 12-November 8, 2022) before placing him on waivers for $46,000. Then, for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, he alternated between the Indianapolis Colts roster and practice squad.
