Learn more about Scott Bok’s romantic life and the LGBT allegations that have been circulating. Is he homosexual, or does he have a wife? Let’s investigate.

A well-known personality in the commercial and educational spheres is Scott Bok.

In addition to serving as head of the board of trustees of his alma school, the University of Pennsylvania, he is the chairman and CEO of Greenhill & Co., a boutique investment bank in New York.

In addition, he is a philanthropist who champions several causes, including animal welfare, the environment, and the arts.

Is Scott Bok a Gay Person? An explanation of rumors

In November 2023, several well-known Penn donors and alumni accused Scott Bok of being antisemitic and anti-Israel. This led to suspicions of Bok’s sexual orientation becoming widespread.

They said he did not denounce the terrorist assaults against Israel and that he let an event on campus with Palestinian authors happen without doing the necessary due diligence.

They also cast doubt on his commitment to Penn and the Jewish community, claiming that he was swayed by his “gay lover,” a purported Palestinian activist.

These accusations, nevertheless, were unfounded. In response, Scott wrote to correct the record and make it clear that he was neither antisemitic nor anti-Israel but rather a fervent admirer of both.

He said that he supported Penn’s Jewish community and denounced the terrorist acts against Israel.

He clarified that academic freedom protected the event, which included Palestinian authors, and that it was not sponsored nor organized by the university but rather by a separate student organization.

With a bachelor’s degree in English from the College of Arts & Sciences, Roxanne Bok is another Penn alumni. Roxanne is an animal lover and writer.

Her story of relocating from Manhattan to a rural area of Connecticut and rearing horses on a farm is chronicled in her book, Horsekeeping: One Woman’s Tale of Barn and Country Life.

She supports several animal welfare groups in addition to serving on the board of the Penn School of Veterinary Medicine.

After more than 40 years of marriage, Alexander and Caroline Bok are the two offspring of Scott and Roxanne Bok.
