Because of a video that has gone viral online claiming that Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo have the same last name, football fans are interested in learning whether the player is the player’s son.

Antoine Mbappe Lottin, sometimes known as Kylian Mbappe, is a professional football player in France. He is renowned for his incredible speed, dribbling, and scoring abilities and is considered one of the best players in the world.

The football player went to a private Catholic school in Bondy and was described as intelligent but unruly. At the age of fifteen, he enrolled in Spanish courses and picked up the language fast.

The athlete began his professional club career in 2015 with Monaco, where he won the Ligue 1 title. But the French football star wrapped off a successful maiden senior season with Monaco by scoring five goals for his country at the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.

Additionally, on May 17, the player was chosen to play for France at the 2018 World Cup in Russia. He was most recently seen in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup.

Why Do They Share The Same Last Name If Mbappe Is Cr7 Son?

No, the French footballer does not have the same last name as Cr7, nor is he his son. Sportsmanor refutes the press report that said they had the same last name. With Photoshop, Ronaldo changed the last “Lottin” in his name.

However, when an American YouTuber entitled “Show Speed” responded to a TikTok video made under the user name “cr7neymarjr,” the video became popular and the myth of the football player being linked to the well-known Portuguese professional footballer began to spread.

According to the bogus viral video, the professional players had the same last name and had curly hair. The video also demonstrated some of the players’ commonalities, such as Kylian Mbappe’s imitation of Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic victory gesture and their ball-hitting style.

In addition, the professional football player used to dream of playing for Real Madrid and idolized the Portuguese star.

Meet Wilfried and Fayza Lamari, Mbappe’s parents

On December 20, 1998, the football player’s parents, Wilfried Mbappe and Fayza Lamari, welcomed him to Paris.

The well-known athlete comes from an athletic family; his father is originally from Cameroon and works as both his agent and football coach; his mother is of Algerian Kabyle heritage and was a former handball player.

In addition, the football player began his career at AS Bondy, where his father served as coach; the player’s parents have always encouraged their son to pursue his professional goals.

They often accompany the player to football games and are pretty proud of him for using his sport to represent the country of his birth internationally.

Who Are The Siblings of Kylian Mbappe?

The younger brother of the French professional football player, Ethan Mbappe Lottin, and the adoptive brother, Jires Kembo Ekoko, are the footballer’s brothers.

Both of the player’s brothers participate in sports. In French football, his younger brother plays as a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain. His birthday is December 29, 2006.

Unlike his adoptive brother Jires, a January 8, 1988-born striker who quit the professional game.

Furthermore, the siblings seem to get along well with one another, as seen by the media’s photos of them hanging together as a family.
