Chet Holmgren’s low-key approach to his relationship has fans wondering if he has a girlfriend. Despite the fact that the Oklahoma City Thunder star has yet to confirm whether or not he is dating, he is not immune to rumors.

Following the appearance of the two interacting in now-deleted Instagram comments, attentive fans assumed he was dating NCAA basketball star Ashley Woodfin. Chet Thomas Holmgren is an NBA center/power forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was born on May 1, 2002, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The City Thunder chose the 21-year-old basketball phenom as the second overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft, trailing only Paolo Banchero. Jabari Smith Jr., Keegan Murray, Jaden Ivey, and Benedict Mathurin were also chosen. Holmgren, a Gonzaga University alumnus, missed the whole 2022-23 season because of a Lisfranc injury in his foot. On October 25, 2023, he made his NBA debut in the 2023-24 season, scoring 11 points in a 124-104 victory over the Bulls.

His career-high 36 points came against the Warriors on November 18 in a 130-123 win. There are also 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and 2 three-pointers in the mix. With that achievement, he joined Michael Jordan as the only rookie in NBA history to do so. He has currently signed to a four-year, $44.89 million contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Fans captured Holmgren’s August 14, 2023 comment on Ashley’s Instagram photo, in which he remarked, “I like you.”

Woodfind, for her part, mentioned the NBA star in her message and replied, “Thanks in baby.” In addition, on October 5, 2023, Ashley replied to Holmgrne’s Instagram with a “smiley tongue out” emoji. It drew an interesting reaction from the player, who addressed her in his reply.

Many others were taken aback, and some even suggested that the two were secretly or openly dating. For whatever reason, the flirtatious remarks were removed.
